Recently, our Managing Director Brook Dixon was the guest speaker at the Australian Smart Communities Association April Webinar. Drawing on his decades of experience, Brook discussed the importance of smart maturity in building and sustaining an effective smart city program. His presentation covered three key themes, the first of which focused on what maturity means in a smart city context. Brook shared key insights into smart city maturity and its key dimensions, which included: ▶ Leading smart cities and organisations are both deliberate and explicit in their approach to building smart city maturity ▶ Smart city activity (e.g. projects, pilots, initiatives etc.) help to build maturity, but are not the only contributor to a successful smart city program ▶ Maturity in a smart city requires people, planning, promotion, and evaluation If you would like to learn more Brook’s presentation and the ASCA webinar series, follow this link: https://lnkd.in/gy7xUiMs To discuss smart city maturity with us, reach out at hello@delosdelta.com
