Sales and Leadership Team Development | Finance, Healthcare & Tech Firms | Doctorate in Organizational Leadership
Let's face it: in the fast-paced & ever changing world of business, your sales team is the frontline, driving revenue and pushing your company forward. But there's a big problem lurking in the shadows – low employee engagement & quiet quitting within your sales team. Quiet quitting among sales reps can have a detrimental impact on a company's bottom line. When sales professionals disengage, their productivity often plummets, which can to missed targets and lost revenue. Moreover, quiet quitters often do the bare minimum, which can undermine team morale and create a toxic work environment. And when your sales reps start jumping ship, it hits hard both financially and operationally. According to Harvard Business Review, turnover rates in sales teams are 27% higher than the rest of the workforce. This turnover crisis costs U.S. companies around $𝟭𝟱 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, as they scramble to hire and train new salespeople. But the damage doesn't stop at recruitment costs. Each departing sales professional represents a severed lifeline to existing clients, jeopardizing hard-won relationships and the revenue streams they generate. It can take a company years to recover after losing a veteran sales rep, given their unique knowledge and connections. Understanding the problem is the first step, which is why I'm excited to team up with Jen Selverian of Nadexa Group to bring you strategies to support your sales team and tackle quiet quitting head on. In tech sales, the culture is defined not by pizza parties or collaboration. It's defined by being put in a seat where you can achieve your quota. You might LOVE your manager, your VP but if nobody is hitting plan, the culture is going to suck. Source- Unknown #sourcing #work #culture #collaboration #early-jobs #employment #earlyjobs

Partnerships and Revenue Leader in SaaS and Tech | Early stage investor and startups advisor | ex-Meta, ex-Expedia Group
I've spent the last decade leading and working with high-performance teams. Last week in Porto I shared some of the lessons with the founders building their first ever startup teams: 🔐 1 - Culture fit is non-negotiable Hard skills can be taught, but values alignment is crucial for long-term success. Make '𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀' your mantra. 😎 2 - Diversity drives innovation Teams with 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 consistently outperform homogeneous groups. Also, YOU learn and grow as a person and as a founder, being part of such team. 📄 3 - Look beyond the CV Past achievements matter, but 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 are often better predictors of future success. 🙆♀️ 4 - Soft skills are the new hard skills In the startup world, as well as in our world of collaborative workplaces, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 are as important as technical expertise. 👨💼 5 - Hiring is just the beginning The best founders, hiring managers and HRs think long-term, considering 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 from day one. When I started in people management years ago, these insights weren't widely shared. Today, the landscape has evolved, but the challenge of building great teams remains. Looking to level up your team recruitment strategy? Let's chat. At CoPartnerUp we specialize in helping companies build 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 🚀 . Check out our team recruitment services: https://lnkd.in/dymGme9K Building a stellar partnerships team doesn't have to be a solo journey 😉 . Partner with us and transform your hiring process today.

In the early days of founding a business, you have your hands on everything. Building a website, sales, social media, customer service and placing orders were part of an average Tuesday. It was slow, but you always felt useful. Hiring and delegating to employees was one of the most difficult transitions for me. I felt less useful every time a process got delegated to a new team member. Creating processes to hand off made me realize how much I had done things my own way and how inefficient 'my way' was for getting things done. It ultimately felt like a loss of autonomy. But the benefits have far outweighed the hit to the ego. Now, working with our team is my favorite part of starting a business. Your team will give your clients a better experience than you thought was possible. They will increase the impact of your mission beyond what you imagined when you started. Finding and growing our first large account, identifying new opportunities by pivoting through the pandemic, and building our Foster Greatness Community were all innovations put in motion by our team. We would not be where we are without the team we've built. So this #laborday, I give a shoutout to our team at Doing Good Works and am grateful for the work and impact made over the last 10 years! #socialenterprise #employeeengagement #workculture

FOCUS DAY 🙋♂️ I used to think that managers love to see focus time in their team's diaries - after all, what a great time to ask questions, jump on a call real quick, update the CRM and all that real deep focus stuff 🙃 But... Check out this gem from Sean this afternoon. This isn't just about learning, it's about doing it as an entire team. Dedicated time to focus, learn, and then disconnect and recharge? THAT'S how you Thrive together. PS: If you're not used to this kind of culture - we're hiring 🚀 (Check Josh Devanny's latest post 👀)

Passionate about all things B2B marketing. I work with Global leaders to grow their marketing teams and smash their goals!
‘Culture is to recruiting as product is to marketing.’* I love this – without a strong product and proposition, marketing can feel like you are pushing a boulder up a hill. Culture plays a similar crucial role for recruiters. But, in my opinion, it goes beyond being a part of attracting top talent for your business; it's the foundation upon which great teams and successful businesses are built. #culture #marketingteams #techmarketing #b2bmarketing #marketingleaders *HubSpot’s Culture Code
