AG&P Pratham recently organized an industrial meet to promote the adoption of Natural Gas among industries in Kolar district. The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with 43 industries from Vemgal, Narsapura, Malur, and Tamaka participating, apart from renowned brands such as Mitsubishi, ITC, Apollo Tricoat, Fab Tools, Zeco Aircon, Modern Automotives and Biovet. The President and General Secretary of the Industrial Association emphasized the benefits of Natural Gas in reducing pollution and enhancing energy efficiency, advocating for its adoption and the role of AG&P Pratham. Esteemed speakers highlighted the advantages of Natural Gas, its alignment with government policies on environmental conservation and its importance in achieving sustainability. Additionally, the President of the Industrial Association, along with the Deputy Commissioner and Environmental Officer, discussed supportive government policies incentivizing the transition to cleaner energy sources and promoting sustainable development. The Retrofitment teams were present to assist industries in converting diesel gensets to Piped Natural Gas (PNG), facilitating a seamless transition to cleaner energy solutions. Information was provided on converting boilers to run on natural gas, highlighting potential cost savings, reduction in emissions and enhanced operational efficiency. In conclusion, the industrial meet was successful in attracting significant participation and fostering constructive dialogue on sustainable energy practices. The event raised awareness about the benefits of natural gas and garnered support for its widespread adoption among industries in Kolar district. ORIX Environmental Resources Management Corporation will commence construction of a new #recycling facility to replace the existing Yorii Plant in Saitama, #Japan. It will use the Direct Melting System (“DMS”), a sophisticated recycling unit that gasifies and melts general waste at a high temperature of approximately 1,800°C to detoxify it and enable recycling while at the same time allowing the recovery of heat #energy. The recovered heat energy will be used for high-efficiency power generation totaling approximately 86,940 MWh annually. This #electricity will be consumed within the premises, with excess being sold to the grid. In case of a natural disaster, it will be able to continue to operate as an energy-independent facility. We're kicking February off by celebrating another milestone of one of our Energy Drive clients! Nampak Div Foods has achieved the impressive milestone of over 1,000,000 kWh in energy savings in collaboration with Energy Drive. We worked with the team to optimise their systems, namely the cooling tower fans and pumps, using data-driven system insights and variable frequency drive technology.
