Transparency Issues: Reliable data on emissions across supply chains is often lacking or not effectively utilised. This lack of transparency hampers efforts to measure and manage carbon footprints accurately. 2. Integration Difficulties: Many companies struggle to embed sustainability into their core business strategies, treating it as a secondary concern rather than a fundamental aspect of their operations. 3. Lack of Strategic Focus: There is often a lack of clear strategic direction, with companies setting modest objectives that reflect current capabilities rather than aiming for long-term transformation. 4. Implementation Challenges: Companies frequently lack the necessary resources, processes, and dedicated personnel to implement sustainability objectives effectively. 5. Cost Concerns: The perceived high cost of sustainability initiatives, coupled with existing margin pressures, deters many logistics organisations from investing in necessary changes.   Being 100% carbon neutral and bearing all associated costs allows Smartways to eliminate the decision between Sustainability and Affordability
