Oshi Health has raised $60 million in Series C funding, led by Oak HC/FT, to fuel our mission of transforming digestive health care! 🌱 "Digestive health is an urgent and under-resourced category, and Oshi stands out for its proven clinical care that delivers faster relief for patients and significant savings for employers," said Nancy G. Brown, General Partner at Oak HC/FT. With participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Flare Capital Partners, Frist Cressey Ventures, CVS Health Ventures, and Takeda Digital Ventures, this funding will help us accelerate our partnerships with provider groups, expand payer coverage, service new employer partners, and expand to serve Medicare populations in 2025. Big news. 😅 I will share more in the coming days, but man, what a ride. We built Rupa Health because we saw a future where health & medicine looked extremely different. It was personalized, data driven, holistic, and focused on getting to the root cause. Turns out, we were right. We went from 0 to a multi-million dollar product and a multi-hundred million dollar company in just a few years. We went from serving 2 practitioners and a handful of patients to tens of thousands of practitioners and hundreds of thousands of patients. In our nearly 5 years of existence, we never had a single down quarter. 💥 And today — we’re taking all of this and joining forces with another company I’ve admired for the last 5 years: Fullscript. The goal is to bring these two companies together to truly make a lasting dent in the healthcare universe. Together, we are nearly $1B in revenue, serving millions of patients, and growing quickly. Everything from our suite of products touching half a million people monthly + nearly our entire team of ~200 humans will be moving over with this acquisition. The impact we’ve created will live on and — if we do this right — improve the lives of every person on the planet. 🌎 I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished. 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟖𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. As the underlying technology matures for real-world applications, companies reimagining healthcare are being met with unprecedented demand. While the hype might seem like a repeat of past waves of short-lived techno-optimism in healthcare, the data tells a different story. In one recent survey, 𝟕𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 of payers and providers reported pursuing the implementation of generative AI. 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 of these groups have increased IT investments over the last year and expect this trend to continue. 𝐍𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐰𝐨-𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐬 of biopharma executives are actively building out use cases across commercial and research and development (R&D) applications, and 𝟔𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 have set near-term targets for the expected return on investment. Six years after the initial launch of our Deep Health investing thesis, Morgan Cheatham and Steve Kraus share updated thinking in healthcare AI. This funding round was led by Transformation Capital, with continued support from Bessemer Venture Partners, Flare Capital Partners and Floodgate. This milestone reflects our relentless commitment to empowering hospitals to close their revenue integrity gap and improve care quality by capturing a more accurate, more complete picture of every patient. Hospitals and health systems use our clinical AI to review 100% of charts, fortify the evidence layer and rectify missing physician documentation, and in turn, capture millions in missed revenue for care they provided. This Series B brings total funding to $71 million and will be invested in deepening the capabilities of our clinical AI and supporting scale as we grow.
