Today is International Human Resource Day! 🎉 The purpose of this important date is to recognize and appreciate the field of HR. 🌞 🌟 SOL Baltics Head of HR in Baltics, Katre Schmidt, shared her opinion on the necessity of celebrating HR Day to HR news (HR uudised; Eesti HR Selts / Estonian HR Society): "I like to think that organizations are like good engines that need fuel to work. Fuel is people. Human resources are the ones who add high octane to the fuel and this in turn makes the engine run even more efficiently. They select and hire talent, take care of employees' well-being, develop their skills and create a pleasant working environment. HR people take pride in their work because it is work with a mission. But the official celebration of such a day emphasizes the value and importance of HR work even more. Let's recognize those who make our engines work even better!"
