Revolutionary manufacturing process by 3D printers will be the future of industries. 3D printing will be next level of manufacturing any process with more complexity we could even imaging. Surely it will beat to every other process by having access to multi-dimensionary axis at a time. It brings overall cost and time to very low with less effort by using software and effective material for the product. #3dprinter #3dprinting #advancedmanufacturing #3dmodeling #manufacturingexcellence #industrialautomation #industrydevelopment #industrydesign #revolutionarytechnology #revolutionarytech #automationengineering #automationsolutions #automationsystems

I've recently upgraded to the Bambu Labs P1S 3D printer, and the primary selling feature is its incredible speed. It's easily two to three times faster than my Prusa MK3S, making prototyping almost instant. This speed means I can go from idea to physical product in no time. #3DPrinting #Innovation #RapidPrototyping

Great points! We used some 3D-printed components onboard ships and in ground support equipment that were utilised in aviation. However, in my experience, it has a long way to go to find a robust market in Defence. The integration of AI with metal 3D printing and CNC machines indeed has the potential to revolutionise precision tools, robotics, and industrial manufacturing. Your concerns are valid. The structural strength and load-bearing capacity of 3D printed parts are critical factors, especially for applications in industries like aerospace, military, and automotive. However, advancements in materials science and printing techniques continually improve the strength and durability of 3D printed parts. The capital cost of these machines is indeed high at present, but as with any technology, we can expect the costs to decrease as the technology matures and scales up. Mass production could certainly help in this regard. Sustainability is another important aspect. While 3D printing can reduce waste by using only the material needed for the part, the energy consumption of these machines is a concern. However, ongoing research and development are likely to make these processes more energy-efficient in the future. While there are challenges, the potential benefits of this technology are immense. It’s an exciting time to be in this field! #AI #3Dprinting #automation #futureofwork

This is a seriously cool video of an innovative laser scanning technique that can 3D-print more complex robots and delicate structures out of a wider variety of materials, all in a single process. In this case a robotic hand that has bones, ligaments, and tendons almost just like something out of a sci-fi movie. But it’s actually very real, thanks to a team of researchers at ETH Zurich and MIT. The collaborative team has developed a laser scanning technique called vision-controlled jetting (VCJ), an inkjet deposition process that continuously scans the print surface using lasers and high-frame-rate cameras (see video and article below).
