Job Title: Senior Corporate Affairs Manager Industry: Manufacturing Location – Lagos Island, Lagos Job Responsibilities: *Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and statutory requirements governing the company's operations *Manage the end-to-end process of applying for and securing government incentives, including preparing documentation, liaising with relevant authorities, and monitoring compliance with approval conditions. *Stay updated on all incentives provided by the Federal Government of Nigeria, including but not limited to import duty exemptions, pioneer status incentives, brand fee waivers, NOTAP (National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion) registration processes, and export grant commissions. *Liaise with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and industry bodies to resolve any compliance-related issues. *Develop and execute public relations campaigns to enhance the company's visibility and promote its products, services, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. *Represent the company in meetings, forums, and industry events to advocate for its interests and influence policy decisions that impact its business operations. *Manage relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers to ensure accurate and favorable coverage of the company's activities and initiatives. *Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives. *Lead a team of corporate affairs professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure effective performance and professional development. *Continuously assess and improve corporate affairs processes, policies, and practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. Qualifications and Skills: *BSC/MSC/MBA in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Political Science, or a related field. *10 + Years of experience in corporate affairs and public relations with progressively increasing levels of responsibility. *Familiarity with the industry in which the company operates, as well as an understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry trends. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Experience in managing crises and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
