Leath Correctional Institution hosted their first annual Women’s Conference this week. The theme of this year's three-day event was "From Trauma to Triumph." The conference was organized by Associate Warden Carter to help incarcerated women process and heal from past trauma spiritually, mentally, and physically. #SecondChances #WeAreCorrections
College students interning with the governor's office toured Kirkland Reception and Evaluation Center today. The group was able to get a close up look at the daily operations within the facility and learn how each role contributes to accomplishing our mission. #WeAreCorrections
