Utility Coordination is an instrumental piece to every successful project. Relationships and early discussions are key, with many considerations - what is the project scope/proposed design? where are existing utilities? where are potential conflict points? can we design to avoid impacts? if not, how do we minimize impacts? We need driven folks who want to develop solid relationships, engage with industry partners, have meaningful impacts on projects, and develop a more "user-friendly" positive utility culture! Basic HealthCare Services conducted the first Rural Sensitization Program for young doctors and medical students, last year. Concluding on Gandhi Jayanti, the program made the invisible world of people living in deep rural areas, visible to these young souls.  "I could never imagine how less people have to eat here, how little they eat, as compared to us city folks?"quipped one. "I could not believe that a Primary Health Center could provide so many services, of such quality"' remarked another. Another drew a "before and after" picture: his eyes closed before and wide eyed open, after :) They chatted till early mornings, sleepy eyed, trying to make sense of the new world and possibilities of practicing an empathetic healthcare. And they danced and sang and swam in the village river. We are back with this year's version of Rural Sensitization Program.
