The recruitment industry pivots and revolves around one phenomenon: The perception that the grass could be greener on the other side. There is no doubt in my mind that every Recruiter would be out of business by the spring, if this shared psyche was lost. Recruitment Consultants will always be in business while people still continue to want more from their career and from life. It is ambition, vision and ideals that keep this sector alive. It is foolish to ask for the grass to be greener, if you are not watering the grass on your side of the fence. But if you have watered the grass, and yet still the crop isn’t growing as quickly or extensively as it should, or you’re not receiving your fair share of the harvest… You get the idea.
