Blackstar Orbital a leading innovator in aerospace technology, and Leviathan Space Industries LLC, along with Leviathan Space Events S.A. based in Ecuador, are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration to support the development of Ecuador's and South America’s first private spaceport. This state-of-the-art facility will support horizontal and vertical launches, as well as reentry from space, positioning Ecuador as a new hub for space access in Latin America.

Everyone does this reflection of 2024 list of achievements and recognition, fantastic to all and 100% celebrate that moment. Those that know me understand I’m so busy it’s all about what’s next in 2025 as it’s already taking off with many projects, focusing on the transistion of our development phase, once I get the final crew to our construction development crew CDC all into place, I’ll be ready to implement the presentation and showcase the impact this will have on our region. Some people may say the following unfortunate you were NOT successful, start small then build up, your dreaming too big, go prove yourself first, I wanna say out loud to WHO and WHY ? If you believe you can achieve and you’ll achieve so much if others believe too, if they don’t no worries, not the right people to get you to that next level and move onwards and upwards. During his participation at the Paris Air Forum, MaiaSpace CEO Yohann Leroy discussed the mini-launcher market alongside Jörn Spurmann, Chief Commercial Officer at Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA, Raúl Verdú, Chief Business Development Officer at PLD Space and Toni Tolker-Nielsen, Director of Space Transportation at European Space Agency - ESA. This discussion allowed us to outline the competitive landscape of the mini-launcher market and to highlight the benefits reusability brings in the economics of a mini launcher developed with private money, namely competitive access to a wider market. This wider access leads to higher cadence, hence easier amortization of non-recurring costs, faster recurring costs reduction, more launch opportunities, and better resilience. To be successful, we need also to go fast, foster a more offensive risk culture, accepting failures as opportunities to learn, accelerate, and ultimately reduce costs.
