I’m a designer! We are designers! This is the first step to becoming a game designer was offered by Jessie Shell in his book The Art of Game Design: A Book of Lenses. Why not follow? 😎 Last week we, the designers, had WoT PC Design All-Hands at Wargaming. What is All-Hands? Simply, it’s a big meeting that brings the entire company department, or all the staff together! All designers (Balance, UX, Game, System, Level, Audio, Monetization) had the opportunity to communicate, have fun, and informal talk. Such an event allows you to discuss the past year's results (about features, hiring, etc), make conclusions, and discuss plans for 2024. And the most interesting part is to chill and have fun! 💃 Thanks, Veronika Lukashevich and Denis Zinin for organization! And each designer for being a designer! You’re breathtaking! (Old gold Keanu Reeeves meme) Are similar events held in your company? Do you think it is important? P.S. Becoming a part of the background can happen to you if you wear a green dress near a green screen 💚 P.P.S. I had a thought about making a post about different types of designers, but a post is not enough, and I’m not sure if it is interesting. #gamingindustry #gamedevelopment #gamedesigner #womeningames

Article 6 in my series!
Feedback is vital to the creative process. When we're creating in extended reality (XR), users rely on feedback to understand and learn how to navigate 3D spaces, interact with objects, and where to focus their attention. What can we, as designers, learn from these interactions? Design Director, Caitlyn, digs into this in Part 6 of her ongoing series, "You, Me, and Accessibility in 3D."

By the end of the year, another significant case lands in my portfolio. From the perspective of hardware setup and functional density, it is one of the most complex projects I have had the chance to participate in. However, I was focused on the visual concept of virtual space, so primarily my canvas was a huge 17-meter screen. I love working on projects where space, technology, business tasks, and creative ambitions intersect. So if you need ideation, visual concept, or art direction in experiential design, XR, and all sorts of mixed media, I'll be happy to dive in! https://lnkd.in/dCqxXHBf #interactiondesign #experientialdesign #interactive #event Ventuz Technology Inty: Friendly interactions

If you're a creative and haven't heard about Rive, Spline or Framer, shame on you. It's about time. When industry leaders start embracing browser-based tools for motion, 3D and web-development it's time to pay attention if you want to get ahead. #nocode #spline #framer #rive #motiondesign #schoolofmotion
📣 SOME NEWS 📣 If you've followed School of Motion for the last year, you've heard me talk a LOT about Rive, the animation / interaction design tool. We're building training for it at the moment, and I've been going very deep into the app. The deeper I go, the more impressed I am. I also think the Rive team is STACKED to the friggin' gills with talent! Guido Rosso is an amazing leader, and the fact that artists like Jerry Liu, Ross Plaskow, Laura Calvo, Michael Myers and more are on the team makes me insanely bullish. So bullish, in fact, I'm proud to say I have become an advisor to the company. I am pretty stingy with my time these days, but the opportunity to play even a tiny part in helping this incredible company grow is an honor and a privilege. If you're a motion designer, product designer, or web designer I think tools like Rive (and Spline) will play a larger and larger role in the motion ecosystem, and School of Motion will be right in the middle of it all, trying to help artists all over the world make a living doing something really, really cool. Feeling bullish!!! 🐂 🐂 🐂

Though I’m yet to try the Vision Pro, I’ve started to realise some pretty interesting topics, which I have unique perspectives on, are not really being discussed. Given my almost 10 years working with XR, if anyone cares, I will get a bit into the depths of how my passion for creating large, shared, playful social XR experiences can shine a light on the future. I promise to contribute with something. I think we've all seen enough first takes 🤗 Look out for my next posts! Something about - “Personal spatial computing devices” (in a country with 67% iOS market share 👀) - “What makes a magical audience moment and why the Vision Pro challenges that” - “Why the Vision Pro will make us more social at offices (remote or not)” - “How the vision pro will change interior design” - “Building successfully for the Vision Pro (Just my hunches)” Feel free to write me personally if you want to discuss more, build experiences or prototype on your Vision Pro. ⭐️ Also definitely tell me your opinion. I am wrong... sometimes.

Hey everyone! 👋 Let's talk about why being good at prototyping and animations is a game-changer for us designers. Here’s the deal: Prototypes and animations turn our ideas into something you can almost touch and feel. They bridge the gap between "Hey, I’ve got this idea" and "Wow, this is how it’s gonna work!" It’s about making designs come to life, making them more than just pretty pictures. Animations? They’re like the secret tool that guides users smoothly through the design. Prototypes? They're like a sneak peek into the future, showing off the vibes of the final product before it even exists, which could honestly improve the pace of your designs getting approved. I swear by these tools. They help me create experiences that stick with you, not just designs that look good. If you wanna see more of what I'm talking about, take a look at what I did on my website: brightstudios.me! #DesignLife #Prototyping #Animations #KeepItReal #BrightStudios

For the People Who Don’t Complain but Deserve Comfort 📺✨ Let’s be real—no one likes to complain about little things like TV glare or awkward viewing angles. But why put up with it when there’s a better way? That’s why I created a 360° TV stand designed to make life easier without the fuss. No more neck strain. No more glare. Just smooth, hands-free adjustments that give you the perfect view every time. 🎯 Key Highlights: 360° rotation for seamless viewing from anywhere in the room. Easy lever control—no need to touch the TV. Built for real homes—affordable, durable, and hassle-free. I’m thankful to Anudeep Ayyagari (UX Anudeep), without this man, I would have never done it, I have put in all my learnings from him in this case study. I thank the GrowthSchool team for their invaluable guidance throughout this journey, and I’m excited to carry these insights forward into future projects. This is for the ones who don’t complain but deserve better. 💪 Interact with the prototype https:/https://lnkd.in/gb6hmmE4 Find the detailed case study in the comments ⬇️ #ProductDesign #Innovation #TVStand #DesignForGood #EffortlessLiving #productdesign #physicalproductdesign #tvstand #combatglare #saynotoeyestrain #userexperience #growthschool #uxdesign #spline3d #3dmodelling #animation
