Attention NDIS providers and participants! 🚨 Over the past 4 months, I've been doing a forum and working with hundreds of NDIS providers, and I've gained valuable insights into the challenges they face. I've simplified these challenges into a digestible format to share with you all. As the image shows, funding changes and uncertainty are the most significant concerns in the sector. 📊 While the government is trying to maintain the system's infrastructure, it's interesting to note that these challenges are at the forefront. 🏛️ Many providers are blindsided by changes in the sector, inaccurate information, feedback, and accountability. This creates a challenging environment for everyone involved. 😕 Consequently, participants are affected, leading to a sense of lack of trust in the system. 🤝 It's crucial to remember that participants ARE the system! 💡 Do you agree with my findings? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below. 📝 #NDISProviders #NDISParticipants #ChallengesInNDIS #FundingChanges #Uncertainty #TrustInTheSystem

✔ Building a Safer Future: Strengthening Safeguards for NDIS Participants and Supports With an 80% increase in complaints and a 47% rise in reportable incidents in 2023-24, the NDIS Commission is stepping up its regulatory game. This new system introduces mandatory registration for platform providers, support coordinators, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers - to strengthen protection for NDIS participants and ensure greater accountability across the sector. This increased accountability can build trust between participants, their families, and service providers, giving communities greater confidence that the support systems in place will meet their needs effectively and ethically. #NDIS #DisabilityServices
