Human Trafficking continues to be one of the World's Fastest Growing Criminal Industry. Thank you, John Hopkins University for allowing me to share best practices from regulatory development within Blockchain-based finance that can be seen as an opportunity to combat Human Trafficking.
Learnings:
1. Different types of crime - same problems: We are working in silos; policymakers are aware of the challenge but do not know how to react effectively.
2. Cases are being investigated separately but are usually a part of organized crime that might be overseen.
3. Lack of complex international legislation, sufficient funding, and access to hands-on tools to understand, detect, and take actions to combat the development early on.
Like weaving different threads together creates a unique fabric, combining unrelated ideas leads to innovation. Technology is a challenge but could be a part of the solution; many tools could assist with the progress of Blockchain-based finance and AI-based technology. Thank you for inviting me Dr. Alexandra Andhov. Leading the session Sara Pennicino, Alexandra and joining me to provide lasting impact Lorenzo Rilasciati. GUARDIA DI FINANZA

Today, I attended an insightful webinar on the Cochrane Qualitative Methodological Limitations Tool (CAMELOT) led by Heather Menzies Munthe-Kaas. The session explored the tool's development, application, and its role in enhancing the relevance of systematic review findings.
CAMELOT is a groundbreaking tool designed to address methodological limitations in qualitative research. During the webinar, we had the opportunity to look into its development process and explore a practical example of how it can be effectively applied.
