So you want more foot traffic in your store? What now? Each marketing area aligns with different goals, different stages of your customer's journey to getting to know you, trusting you, and ultimately, choosing to buy from you. If you're a dispensary looking to increase the number of customers that come into your store, you need to focus on acquiring new customers and nurturing existing customers to buy more. To do this, you can invest in conversion-focused marketing tactics, such as Google Ads or email and SMS. Not sure what this looks like for your unique business? We got you covered. “How will I know it’s working?” It’s the number one question any business wants to know when they begin advertising, and it’s a valid one. The client represented by the data below has a long decision cycle for new customers. You can’t expect to advertise on Monday and reap the rewards Tuesday. When they sponsored a 20-week campaign tied in to New Orleans’ football season, I began comparing their Google Analytics data daily. The result was a 20% increase in visits, including +16% users. The +8% session duration shows that these prospects weren’t visiting by accident, they had intent to research, thanks to the affinity developed by their sponsorship. Marketing tactics don’t live in a vacuum, they all work together. When tactics in different mediums compliment each other, the result is a comprehensive approach that gets businesses the results they’re looking for. Every step of the user experience needs to be smooth, from preliminary awareness to outreach/engagement, from first contact to customer retention. Do that, then it’s just a matter of measuring the progress!

No surprise, local partners still want leads 🪪. Brands create demand, and local partners capture it. Paid search is the best way to not only capture demand but to show attribution for those leads. It's hard to explain the customer journey with its complexities and numerous touchpoints. So it's no surprise after looking at the data that Google Ads are getting the lion's share of co-op fund utilization. Someone clicked an ad > then they called you > here is there name and number from call tracking > how much did they buy? = Easy ROI discussion Is this surprising to you??

Scaling 7-8 Figure eCommerce & Service-Based Businesses with Google and YouTube Ads. Over $10M Revenue Driven For Clients Worldwide.
There are many off-platform methods to improve your revenue with Google Ads... - CRO - Promotions - Inventory expansion - Upsells - Multi-channel strategies But indisputably the best is to just create a great product. The best products sell themselves. Effortless conversion, returning customers, a loyal community spreading the word. You can't manufacture the results borne of a product that simply addresses consumer desire. Yes, good marketing will take you even further. But you can't build an empire on unstable foundations.

I feel like stirring the pot today with 3 spicy marketing takes that, honestly, should be lukewarm. - 1. Most of the best marketers I've ever worked with have spent time working in both sales and marketing. Or, they've run a business. And having spent some time actively doing sales and marketing breeds empathy and better marketing chops. - 2. The best internal B2B creators are founders. If your founder isn’t up for it or just doesn’t have the chops, skip it. There are plenty of other strategies that can get you that win. - 3. Most brands should think twice before building their own branded communities. If you decide to go for it, keep it out of the marketing department. It should be its own department or maybe live in customer success. And don't even start talking seriously about ROI for 6-12 months.

#MarketingMonday Instead of trying to drive traffic during slow times, plan your major promotions to coincide with your busiest times of year to avoid wasting resources. For instance, you may consider running a membership campaign during your busy season. Though it may seem counterintuitive to discount when you already have high traffic, think of it as leveraging your busy season to drive as many memberships as possible.
