Day 1 of AMA Tour | Jhb - KZN Take outs: - Do epic shit you never thought you were capable. How? Just enter/commit/dive in and the rest tends to figure it out. - Find people who share these ambitions and more, birds of a feather and all that. - Johannesvurg is iconic and a wasted landscape and city. People need to get hyped about it again and help it turn a corner and reach its full potential. End of story, leave excuses at the door. It’s too good to be wasted. - Jozi is it’s people. I met a large group of them today for the first time and you hard pressed to find more welcoming people. That can/is/must be leveraged. - Finish what you set out to do. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not an old Irish saying but an American one, and it was initially used in a somewhat derogatory way to attribute the Irish miners’ successes to luck rather than their hard work. Over time, the phrase has taken on a more positive connotation, celebrating the Irish for their perceived good fortune and resilience, especially in the face of adversity.
