Visa News Alert! In an effort to revitalize its tourism industry following the pandemic, Vietnam is contemplating expanding visa exemptions to additional countries. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security to assess the possibility of adding 13 countries to the visa exemption program, taking into account bilateral cooperation. This initiative aims to attract tourists from countries known for high spending and extended stays, such as Australia, Canada, and the United States. Attention to All Embassies in Africa ⛔️⛔️⛔️ As tourism promoters and destination ambassadors, we, from the tourism industry, take charge of promoting your destination even without any payment from your government. Our work often goes unnoticed, yet we contribute significantly to attracting visitors to your countries because we know how to excel at our job. 😊 Unfortunately, we face the highest visa denial rates. Sometimes, despite providing evidence of our work, we still encounter rejection meanwhile the investment made on every single event or trip is huge. 😢 We acknowledge that embassies provide essential services, but we emphasize that we are not seeking illegal immigration. All we ask for is fair consideration when requesting a visa so that we can fulfill our duties. The most frustrating part is when we've already paid substantial fees for events, only to have our visas denied—often with non-refundable fees. 😣 The embassies never care about our mails or recommendations meanwhile they try to promote their destinations without noticing that we’ve doing free of charge😉 If you've experienced this situation, feel free to #SHARE YOUR STORY . 🤝🤝🤝" and tag anyone within the industry #WeAreDestnationPromotors Madagascar National Tourism Board Office National du Tourisme RDC Office National du Tourisme Rdc Tourism Seychelles UN Tourism BUREAU DU TOURISME DU GABON Agence française de développement en Amérique Latine Senegal Tourist Office Uganda Tourism Board Kenya Tourism Board KENYA TOURISM BOARD Tanzania Tourist Board SADC Secretariat African Union African Development Bank Group NIGERIA TOURISM PROMOTION Tourism In Angola Zimbabwe Tourism Authority The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa Zambia Tourism Agency Zambia Tourism Board Canada Revenue Agency - Agence du revenu du Canada Otunba Michael Balogun USAID Ibrahima Kourouma - MBA, PMP, PROSCI. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝘧𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 & 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀: Great news for anyone dreaming of exploring India or Russia! Talks are underway for a bilateral agreement that would eliminate visa requirements for tourist travel between the two countries. Currently, visas are still needed, but there are options like the Unified e-Visa (UEV) for Indians visiting Russia and Visa on Arrival (VOA) for Russians visiting India. Here's why this potential agreement is a game-changer: 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗿 & 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹: Scrapping visas would make travel between India and Russia significantly more accessible and affordable, boosting tourism for both nations. 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲: Visa-free travel fosters cultural exchange, allowing people from both countries to experience each other's rich heritage firsthand. 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Increased tourism brings economic benefits, creating jobs and supporting local businesses. Russia's existing visa-free programs with China and Iran for group tours could serve as a model for the potential India-Russia agreement. While discussions are expected to begin in June 2024 with a possible agreement by year-end, this potential no-visa agreement promises to be a major boost for India-Russia relations, unlocking a world of travel possibilities for citizens of both countries.
