When a resource is limited, its value often increases. I want to share a personal experience related to value. As a leader of a team in the sales department, we rely on other teams to complete tasks on a daily basis. Although we often perceive such tasks as routine, we tend to overlook the fact that the other team members are performing their duties as described and expected. In my case, the task was completed not only as the duty of the job but with a sense of value and importance.
Yesterday, close to the end of the day, I faced two challenging situations. Luckily, I had the chance to work with Katie Anderson, who had helped and supported our sales team members many times before. However, yesterday, she was a real hero. She went above and beyond to save the day twice for one of my team members by being compassionate and professional, not just doing the job but doing it efficiently. This was nothing but a positive experience for our clients, team members, and the company to win. Thank you, Katie Anderson, and all colleagues in technical support during the year.
I want to extend a big thank you to the entire client support leadership team at Get Beyond. Also, special thanks to the operations team, product support, deployment, employee management, compliance, recruitment, marketing, financial, enablement, credit, and legal.
The great leaders and team members in each of these divisions bring unique insights and experiences to support the sales team on the front line. This collaboration between all these divisions supporting sales and aligning with each other provides a competitive edge to our sales.
Thank you, and I wish everyone a very happy and healthy New Year!
