Guess who is presenting at OPRA this fall at their 50th Anniversary Conference? Excited to facilitate a session on how we've leveraged the DiSC on Catalyst to strengthen connections amongst teams. DiSC on Catalyst is a personal development learning experience that equips people with the social and emotional know-how for more effective interactions at work. During our session, each member will gain insight into their own DiSC and learn how to leverage this information to strengthen their teams. Teams are at the heart of every organization’s success, and the strength of these teams depends largely on their ability to understand and leverage the diverse personalities, communication styles, and strengths of their members. Building a high-performing team is no small feat, but Gladegy Consulting, LLC has helped many of our clients make it easier. By providing a common language and framework for understanding behavioral differences, we've helped teams communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and achieve their goals. When teams understand and appreciate the diversity of styles within their group, they unlock their true potential. Join us this fall at the Ohio Provider Resource Association as we take a deeper dive into how we have leveraged Catalyst to achieve remarkable client outcomes. As we kick off the new year in pluto, we took some time to review the past year and all the challenges, learnings and impactful work it has brought us! At #plutolive, we started the year collaborating on one of the biggest events of the year. With a quick turnaround time and many, many, many people involved, this was our proud showcase for 2024 and from there, it continued. Following this, the year was then sprinkled with smaller meetings, kick offs, exhibitions, festive gatherings along with a few conferences thrown in for good measure. It was certainly a year that showcased our versatility and agility! The festive season allowed us to work on some lovely end of year celebrations not only in Ireland but throughout Europe 🌍 Looking back, overall, it was a great year, but what we had expected for 2024 was very different and so we needed to work harder and faster to produce each campaign and project which challenged us overall. Luckily, we got the opportunity to take a nice long break over the festive season which allowed us to reset for the year ahead. After such a year, I am ready for the challenges and opportunities 2025 will have in store for us, but to make the most of it, let’s manifest on what we want more of to produce impactful events for our clients for the year ahead: 📆 Time ahead to plan 🧠 Challenges that support growth 🤝 Cross-functional collaborations 💻 AI tools to help us work with more efficiency and develop our creativity ✨ Wellness at events ♻️ Sustainability
Wrapping up another amazing year in the only way we know how, showcasing work for our incredible clients. Cheers to an even bigger 2025✨

You’ll be surprised at how much you’ve accomplished when you reflect. Any woman who starts her own business inspires me. Yesterday I attended the 2-year anniversary celebration for Melanie Disse consultancy and am excited for her! Melanie built a great group of supporters who came to celebrate the event. Starting your own business from scratch is hard. Being a CX consultant is also hard. After working with amazing brands like Vodafone, IDC, Foodstuffs, Mercury and Fleetcor, Melanie decided to give it a go. She saw a gap in how companies use Voice of Customer programs to create better strategies for growth and retention. Today she’s thriving. She offers 3 types of services to businesses: 1. Advisory services and consulting 2. Fractional CXO/CCO support 3. Workshops and training Melanie complements in-house teams with her broader view of what strategies and technologies are effective in the market. But most importantly she loves what she’s doing! I admire people who have courage and are willing to try things out - it’s how you design the life you want. Melanie has taken that bold leap. Here’s some insights from her journey to inspire others into designing lives they love: -> Build up a pipeline of opportunities before you take the leap into consulting -> Try wearing many different hats that come with working on the business before outsourcing those you enjoy the least -> Don’t get discouraged and lose optimism even when economy is low Who’s a woman you admire in your professional network?

We asked Harriet Mellor to share the 4 biggest lessons she’s learnt this year and here’s what she had to say: 1️⃣ Switching the focus from tasks to outcomes = GAMECHANGER! Empowering the team to prioritise results over to-do lists has transformed the way we work and the impact we make. 2️⃣ Celebrating wins is a must. We marked our 4th birthday this year, the first celebration within the business and I’ve learned not to wait another four years to celebrate again. Taking time to reflect and enjoy milestones is so rewarding. 3️⃣ Moving to a dedicated office was a smart move. It’s supported our growth, boosted our visibility and having a dedicated space has meant fewer weekends spent working. (I said fewer not none, before my friends start chiming in!) 4️⃣ Creating a core focus has redefined how we work. Rolling this out internally in July has been pivotal. It’s not only acted as a filter for identifying aligned prospects but has also ensured we’re working with dream clients. The result? Bigger wins and even better outcomes for us and the organisations we partner with globally. What’s been your biggest lesson this year? #lessonslearnt #reflection #endofyear #sales

Do you criticize yourself for not doing enough when you come to the end of a day, the close of the week, or as you wind down the year? Now is a great time to stop and think about how much you DID this past year - in all the parts of your life - and celebrate that you got through it! You are invited to join me in a 90 minute small group session designed to help you acknowledge ALL that you accomplished during 2024 so that you can go into next year excited and confident. Why? Because you have proof that you did more than you give yourself credit for. At the end of this session you will have a DONE LIST to show yourself. And you will also realize that what you do is WORTH IT! This will be part guided discussion and part reflection/journaling to document the small, the big, and all the things in between that you DID over the past year. This will not be a reflection limited to just ONE area of your life either because EVERY part of your life matters! In addition, this will NOT be a comparison between what you did and what everyone else did. This is about what YOU did. Register early for a spot at $22. Space is limited. A powerful and personal story that shines a light on the real definition of hospitality and highlights how hospitality ultimately manifests in our personal and professional lives. If you are a leader who is looking to improve your service levels, strengthen your team and operation, and create meaningful change within your organization, I highly recommend Erica Kaehly & Guest Service Solutions. “It’s not just about understanding someone’s experience—it’s about showing up in ways that matter. This is the foundation of hospitality. Moments Define Memories: Whether in life or service, every interaction counts. Small gestures leave lasting impressions.” - Erica Kaehly #hospitality #unreasonablehospitality #enlightenedhospitality #coloradohospitalitycommunity #hospitalityvsservice
Moments Matter: Lessons from My Journey The heart of luxury hospitality lies in moments—the fleeting interactions, thoughtful touches, and lasting impressions that make a stay unforgettable. Over the past two years, I’ve experienced this truth in the most profound way, not only as a professional but as a person. I faced the battle of my life on 6/2/2022: breast cancer. I didn’t broadcast my diagnosis but instead leaned on a select group of clients, colleagues, and loved ones. Their unwavering support carried me through chemotherapy, four surgeries, radiation, and over 150 doctor appointments. Even when I “took a break,” many of my clients stayed by my side, showing me what true loyalty and empathy look like. Through this journey, I learned: The True Heart of Empathy: It’s not just about understanding someone’s experience—it’s about showing up in ways that matter. This is the foundation of hospitality. Moments Define Memories: Whether in life or service, every interaction counts. Small gestures leave lasting impressions. The Power of Asking for Help: Vulnerability isn’t weakness; it’s the key to authentic connection, with clients, teams, and guests. My journey as a survivor has reaffirmed what I’ve always believed: every moment matters. This belief is the core of what we do at Guest Service Solutions (GSS). We train teams to recognize the power of moments, cultivating experiences that go beyond material luxury to create something truly unforgettable. To my incredible clients, colleagues, and friends: thank you for teaching me the lessons of compassion and resilience. Your support has inspired me to bring even more heart into the work I do every day. Ready to inspire your team and create extraordinary guest experiences? Let’s make it happen.
