On March 21, 2024, the United Nations (UN) adopted a landmark resolution on the promotion of “safe, secure and trustworthy” artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The UN’s resolution contains a “comprehensive vision” for how countries can deploy and use AI tools and addresses how countries should respond to its benefits and challenges. Significantly, the UN’s resolution was released at a time where there are increasingly divergent paths on regulating AI across the globe. https://lnkd.in/exWHFRYZ
