Thank you again Asharq Business اقتصاد الشرق for having me host to get my view on Boeing's severe quality issue on the "MAX-9". Even door plugs are used across airline manufacturing, it requires that quality control is up to snuff to ensure nothing goes wrong, what Boeing is not mastering obviously. As flydubai is not operating the "MAX-9" in its inventory, their operations are not affected by the grounding of this particular type. ليونارد فافر: شركة بوينغ اسم كبير في قطاع الطيران - Now الشرق (asharq.com) 1BlueHorizon Group #b737 #boeing737 #boeinglovers #boeing #qualitymatters #qualitycontrol #supplychain #supplychainmanagement #supplychainoptimization #emirates #emiratesairline #flydubai #uae #dubai #dubaiinvestment #aviationindustry #aviation #aerospace #aerospaceindustry #aerospaceanddefense #airlineeconomics #strategicmanagement #strategicresilience #resilience #strategy #airlinestrategy #1bluehorizon #1bhg #onebluehorizon #blancazureditions

Global Airways Group has acquired another Airbus A320-232 as part of its strategy to replace its older aircraft with a more efficient fleet. The aircraft, manufacturer serial number 2167, initially served Martinair in Holland before being purchased by Macquarie Airfinance Global and operated by Etihad Airways until June 2023. Now in the hands of Global Aviation Operations, based at Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport, the aircraft will undergo South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) certification. Thereafter, it will be placed on South Africa’s civil aviation register as ZS-GAB and added to Global Airways’ licence. The newly-acquired aircraft will be wet-leased by Afrijet Business Service and will fly under the Fly Gabon banner, providing operational capacity and enhancing regional connectivity in its markets. With this safe and reliable aircraft Global Airways is able to extract efficiencies that will bolster its operations. It also enhances Global Airways’ competitive fleet solutions offering to its partners and customers. Global Airways chief operating officer, Sandy Baynes, says that the company’s fleet renewal program is based on sound financial principes that allows more efficient aircraft to be operated without incurring financial debt and or other potentially onerous and inflexible obligations. https://lnkd.in/eSBUxKnB #airtransport #aircraft #airlinesandairplanes #aviationindustry
