What a month of May! Standing ovation to everyone for achieving this incredible milestone 👏👏
The month of May was an *excellent* month in terms of fundraising with around €90m raised by our companies. This is about 2x the figure from 2023 and close to the €100m raised in May 2022. We also had more M&A activity, including Sonio that was acquired by Samsung Medison for €92m. In the femtech space and with an incredible female founder & CEO, Cecile Brosset Dubois 👏 This is follows Apple's acquisition of Datakalab in April. Round of funding included: - enspired (€25m raised with Zouk Capital LLP, 360 Capital, Presidio Ventures and more) - Infinite Orbits (€12m raised with Newfund, IRDI Capital Investissement and funding from the EIC) - Nulink (€11m raised with DWF Labs, Poolz, ViaBTC Capital and more) - inHEART (€11m raised with Vesalius Biocapital IV, Elaia Capital SA, SAGANA and more) - trawa (€10m raised with Balderton Capital and more) - Mon Petit Placement (€4.6m raised via crowdfunding) And *many* smaller rounds as well (we saw a clear increase in rounds of under €2m). A huge contrats to everyone for this incredible milestone.
