Earlier this year, Vejle Municipality highlighted green initiatives, specifically targeting the shift towards more eco-friendly consumption. This involved an effort to make local businesses more environmentally conscious in their operations—enhancing their ability to convey and negotiate green products and consumption options. Additionally, there was a broader aim to inspire citizens and customers to make greener choices in their day-to-day lives.   Within this context, RE-ZIP - Reusable packaging was spotlighted as an example of how circular packaging can contribute to these objectives, and RE-ZIP boxes were featured in all shop windows associated with the project. Kudos to municipalities like Vejle Kommune for placing green initiatives on their agenda. It's inspiring to see the commitment to eco-conscious endeavors that support actions pushing the boundaries of environmentally friendly development, inspiring others to do the same. 💚🌍

Today's World Earth Day invites us to think again about our impact on the planet and the actions we can take to help keep our environment clean! 🍃✨️ We believe that we are each responsible for the future of the Earth, and we are committed to following the guidelines of the sustainability programme "Together Towards Zero and Beyond" of Carlsberg, one of the world's largest brewing groups, of which Švyturys-Utenos alus is a part. In line with these guidelines, the Group has made significant progress, achieving indicators such as a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 21% reduction in water consumption per hectolitre of beer. 👏 The programme's overarching environmental, social responsibility and governance objectives for 2030 and 2040 are not only leading to the realisation of its core ambition of zero emissions. The targets are also more ambitious in other priority areas: water conservation, responsible alcohol consumption, promoting diversity, equality and inclusion, human rights, and community empowerment. We are pleased to be part of this programme to promote more sustainable brewing and to be more environmentally friendly. Happy World Earth Day! 🌍
