Join our esteemed panelists Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR, Doug Newkirk, Regional Design Director and Managing Director at Geyer and Saleem Bhatri, Dean, Faculty of Design at CEPT University as we debate and discuss the concept of “Joy at Work". Can work and workplaces bring joy and well-being? How can employers create the right leadership, environment and incentives to support employees' physical, cognitive and emotional needs? Steelcase research highlights that joy at work comes not just from fun or comfort, but from deeper engagement with work through meaningful, authentic and fulfilling experiences. This session will be moderated by Samantha Giam, Vice President of Marketing at Steelcase Asia Pacific. Vice President People & Culture - I love to support our companies by fostering collaboration, creating synergies in HR and by focusing specifically on the topic of leadership development
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐧 “𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤”? At the Design Offices Munich, Accenture, Design Offices, Haufe Group and Vitra gave us the great opportunity to discuss #newwork. 👉 How do we use #space at work? How can we continuously adapt space to the needs of the company, employees & what work requires. Not one concept fits all. 👉 What is the role of #leadership to bridge work & space (thanks to Joachim Gripp for the comment). 👉 I think leadership is still necessary, its more about the role of a leader. When is a moderator, a coordinator, or a coach helpful? This roles require additional competencies in #emotionalintelligence #collaboration and #decisionmaking and we need to support leaders in acquiring this skills: “𝘈𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯. . . . Unleashing the power of humanity in business | PCC, CPCC, ORSCC, ACTC | Leadership & Team Coach | Systemic Facilitator | Senior Consultant Leadership Development at Shell International
What does a fulfilled life look like to you? At the start of this optimistic October, these are the three things I look forward to: 🍁 Autumn! The view of the leaves turning yellow, red and brown…. it’s a beautiful season of renewal. 🍁 Visiting the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven later this month. Accompanying my eldest son, who is interested to explore the world of industrial design. 🍁 Prep work with some dear colleagues, for a couple of leadership sessions in November. I love how this work continues to inspire me. If you like this calendar, you can download it from https://lnkd.in/eD-wPkGr If you are leading a team, you might want to share this with your team members. Small actions can help us to focus on what really matters. This brings purpose and happiness to our lives. If you want data to do the talking, Forbes recently published the results from one study that revealed happy employees are 20% more productive in the workplace than unhappy employees. Let’s have an optimistic October together 🍁 #actionsforhappiness #teamdevelopment #thrivingatwork #leadership #resilience #coaching #optimisticoctober

Award Winning Author of The Waymakers. LinkedIn #TopVoice. Equity strategist. C-Suite Advisor. LinkedIn Learning Instructor.
Back at it, post family wedding, with one of my long-time customers. (Took this pic bc the twinning was on extra!) This cohort: 35+ executive leaders engaged in meaningful dialogue about the critical moments during which we must show up—consciously, compassionately, and courageously—to drive equitable outcomes and create inclusive workplace environments. Each of The Waymakers Change Group Change Experiences is unique because the people in it are unique, as are their perspectives and challenges. The magic isn’t in the theory. It’s in the stories. The examples. The framing. The tools. The application. The practice. The intentionality. The commitment. I used to think I wanted to make our work automated…repeatable. I wondered how I might turn what we’ve created into technology that could scale fast and far. But the deep understanding and navigation of human motivation and behavior are what set us apart. The willingness and ability to show up with and for people wherever they are, and to walk alongside them to a new, more desirable place. We’re playing the long game. If you are too, get in touch. My messages are open. #meaningfulwork #humantouch #wearethewaymakers #betheway #equityandinclusion #culture #workplace #leadership The Waymakers Change Group

'Us vs. Them' is killing your company's DEI efforts. Here’s how to fix it. 👇 Our human instinct to point fingers in the face of systemic issues usually makes us more divided, instead of bringing us together. This can create a ‘us vs. them’ dynamic that undermines your DEI efforts. At DF Analytics, we emphasize a strengths-based approach, focusing on common goals and shared values. By celebrating every person’s contributions, we aim to shift from division to collective progress. Strategies for Unity you should be implementing in your company: ✔️ Highlighting Commonalities: Fostering a sense of belonging by emphasizing shared goals and experiences. ✔️ Encouraging Empathy: Promoting understanding through shared stories, binding diverse teams together. ✔️ Promoting Inclusive Leadership: Training leaders to model inclusivity, demonstrating the value of diversity. ✔️ Data-Driven Insights: Using data to guide DEI strategies, focusing on actionable outcomes. The impact? Transformed organizational culture. ▪️ Boosted employee involvement. ▪️ Sparked creativity and innovation. ▪️ A workplace where everyone feels appreciated and capable. By focusing on what unites us, we can build more resilient and inclusive organizations. If you're ready to enhance your DEI efforts with a data-driven approach, let's connect and make impactful changes together. #DiversityAndInclusion #InclusiveLeadership #DEIInitiatives #CulturalTransformation #UnityInDiversity

I partner with senior leaders & leadership teams to foster peak well-being and a 1% culture | Your people get more done, make more money, + stay with your company twice as long, in less than 3 months
I remember that day vividly. Stepping into the boardroom, I felt the weight of anticipation. As I extended my hand.... I sensed discomfort as eyes lingered on my tattoos. I was acutely aware of the corporate environment, particularly at the onset of my HR career, when a VP advised me to conceal my tattoos. This subtle expectation reflected the traditional norms of leadership. While progress has been made in shaping workplace culture and policies... For years, I navigated around this expectation, concealing a part of myself to conform to corporate standards. Yet, I recognized that genuine leadership transcends conformity; it's rooted in authenticity. That's why I'm passionate about helping senior leaders and teams embrace their unique identities and strengths. Because when we embrace who we are fully, tattoos and all, we unlock our true potential for success. When you lead with vulnerability and courage, you cultivate a safe and supportive environment that inspires others to show up authentically. This leads to a more inclusive and impactful community. Last week, I had the privilege of participating in a transformative leadership experience. ⚡️ I joined fellow leaders who were challenging norms, embracing authenticity, and inspiring change in sectors of private equity, power, passion, purpose, and sales influence and impact. It was an enriching dialogue, and as I continue to integrate the insights gained from that experience, I'm excited to attend another special conference this week, connecting women around the world meaningfully to champion the future of work. 🫶🏼 ICYNTR when you show up fully as yourself, trusting in every decision and commitment, you create a ripple effect of empowerment and transformation. — 👋🏼 I partner with senior leaders and teams to foster peak well-being and a 1% culture productivity to unlock increased productivity + revenue, while retaining your team for twice as long! Curious? Message me for more. #leadership #culture #mentalhealth #workplacewellbeing

🌐 Change of Perspective: A Key to Leadership Growth 🌐 In our dynamic work environment, the ability to shift perspectives is more than a skill; it's a necessity. Recently, G+D's Personal Growth Program has powerfully facilitated this transformative experience in Lyon. Whether transitioning from a manager to a Leadership role, working from the headquarter or from a region, adapting from an office setting to the shop floor, or navigating across diverse cultures, each change in view brings invaluable insights. 🚀 As Leaders, stepping into a broader role challenges us to think beyond traditional management, focusing on inspiring and influencing rather than solely directing. 🌍 Exchange between headquarters and regional locations offers a unique chance to understand the nuances of local markets and directly engage with the teams driving our operations. 🏭 Exploring production environments connects us with the heartbeat of our company—the place where ideas turn into tangible products and services. 🌐 And, working across different cultures enriches our perspective, encouraging innovative thinking and fostering a truly inclusive workplace. Each shift in perspective is an opportunity to learn and grow. It's about embracing change, valuing diverse viewpoints, and leading more effectively. Let's continue to challenge ourselves to see the world through multiple lenses—it's how we build a more adaptive and resilient leadership style. Thank you, Philippe Delanoue, Alexia Bonnard and Phetsavanh Claire Garnier, for your hospitality and providing the opportunity to visit the Craponne site. Thank you Surabhi Nikumbha, Thomas Steininger & Ann-Kathrin Kaellner, Roland Greppmair for navigating the participants Personal Growth Journey. #ProudofGD #LeadershipDevelopment #CulturalDiversity #GDPersonalGrowthProgram #OneHR
