【Event Recap】SH & Hybrid: The Green Supply Chain - Powering Sustainability in Supply Chain Management On August 29th the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China was delighted to join Johan Annell from ARC Consulting as he presented their annual #sourcing survey for the #Asian market. Johan discussed multiple key sourcing #trends, such as the state of sourcing following the global #pandemic, how companies can reassess rapidly shifting costs and risks relating to #ESG, whether companies are looking to increase or reduce their sourcing from #China, and more. The annual survey from ARC Consulting has the aim giving a unique forward-looking indication of what companies experience and what they perceive in the future, and the presentation was highly valuable in terms of accounting for the current state of sourcing in the Asian market. This year, the COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Global Supply Chain Partner Summit 2024 in Shanghai with more than 500 supply chain partners, customers, industry experts and media from all over the world was focused on "Digital Intelligence and Green Sharing". Together, we discussed the new direction of digital supply chain development and made plans for chain-wide cooperation that works hand in hand with our "shipping + port + logistics", while we covered important topics such as digital intelligence, green shipping and security, among others. As the first global event of COSCO SHIPPING Holdings in the process of digital supply chain and green low-carbon transformation, this conference conveyed the company's digital supply chain construction concept to global partners from multiple dimensions and reached a new consensus on accelerating the construction of the digital supply chain ecosystem and improving the resilience and security of the global industry chain supply chain. Through this conference, it not only enhanced mutual understanding and cooperation friendship, but also opened up new space for further deepening of cooperation and further expanding the circle of friends in the future.
