From battery technology to charging infrastructure, I dove deep into the electrifying world of Ford’s EV initiatives. 🌱 Eco-Friendly Innovations: Ford’s commitment to sustainability impressed me. Their focus on reducing emissions, enhancing range, and creating efficient EVs is truly commendable. 🌿 🔧 Problem-Solving Skills: The simulation challenged my problem-solving abilities. Imagine being turned away. Turned down. Then building an empire. This is the story of Soichiro Honda. Honda’s early career was marked by setbacks and failures. His piston rings were initially rejected by Toyota for poor quality. Undeterred, Honda enrolled in engineering school without attending classes. Instead, he spent time in his workshop to improve his designs. After Toyota finally accepted his improved piston rings, Soichiro Honda did not settle. He saw a bigger opportunity beyond being a supplier. With visionary zeal, he founded Honda Motor Co., Ltd. He dove headfirst into manufacturing motorcycles and – later – cars that would conquer global markets. The takeaways: - He did not let rejection define his worth. Instead, he used it as motivation. - Honda’s ambition was not just to succeed but to revolutionize an industry. - His legacy is not just in overcoming obstacles but in the innovation and quality that Honda is known for worldwide. What is wrong with Tesla's ability to engineer? I find that there are continued failures, now the wiper. in their vehicles. Do they not understand best engineering practices? I evangelize the "challenge method" to ferret out poor if not outright bad decisions.
