We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Laurence “Larry” Gluck – the esteemed founder of Stellar Management – following his courageous battle with ALS. As a visionary leader in the real estate industry, Larry’s dedication and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on New York City’s landscape.   Nearly forty years ago, Larry began building what is now one of the largest owners and operators of residential and commercial real estate in America. We are incredibly proud of all his accomplishments and are grateful Stellar Management will continue to be a family business dedicated to the long-term ownership and stewardship of New York City commercial real estate.   And while we will miss him dearly, his legacy of innovation and integrity will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Over 37 years of friendship! Besides having a terrific business relationship during that time, we shared the birth of our kids, bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings and seeing them grow up to be terrific adults. Larry and I had many great golf trips , nights out and deep conversations about our lives. I saw his true inner strength come to light in his 11 year plight battling ALS. I will miss his friendship and wisdom and hope he is at peace now.

Larry Gluck was truly a special person with a big heart and he loved people as much as he loved his vision and passion for making deals. I met Larry in 1996 when he bought 95 Morton Street in the West Village a 160,000 SF Office Building for $8,000,000. Steve Witkoff and Larry Gluck were quintessential deal makers and understand long term values. Larry ultimately took over control of Stellar Management and grew it to one of the biggest privately owned real estate companies. He was a Legend on the same Level of as Stanley Stahl or Harry Helmsley. He made partnerships with many Brokers and created great value for his company and family. Best deals were One SoHo Square, Milk Studios, and Independence Plaza. His courage, and vision and passion and dedication were so inspiring. I’m proud to have known him and work with him and his team. My condolences to his daughters and the all family at Stellar Management including Darlene & Matt Lembo. May his soul rest in peace.
