The Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) team is evolving to become a learning-centric organization. They're using insights from our partnership to inform the implementation of their new strategic plan. How are they meeting their goals? Expand Brand Awareness: SCUP developed a more focused content strategy to showcase their achievements and knowledge, increasing their value as a strategic learning hub. Increase Association Membership: They're aligning their values strategy to member needs and expanding their reach to non-members with the goal of improving membership conversions. Grow Conference Attendance: They adjusted their strategy to focus on the value of participating in events and the benefits of contributing as a presenter to grow their community of higher ed professionals focused on learning. Our case study shares how we work with organizations and associations to implement change and deliver on their goals. https://hubs.li/Q02G118C0

We're particularly excited about two of our new courses on the way: 1️⃣ How a NZ council saved over $1m in a Parks / Recreation optimization project. 2️⃣ How a British council developed a dynamic purchasing system for EV infrastructure - which has saved tens of thousands in avoiding repeat work + millions in avoiding poor spend in this nascent market. If you're interested in the above ⬆ ... Have you registered your municipality's interest in joining GovMasters Academy yet? We're connecting the best innovation from local governments globally, and teaching your team how to replicate and localize these successes. 💬 Comment below if you're interested in being part of our Founding 100 councils!

Ahead of #ipsef this year, I really enjoyed writing this article for ITM - hopefully useful for those looking at the broad topic of sustainability when developing international schools. Looking forward to sharing it at the event this week, with a few more insights too 😁 #sustainability #environmentaldesign #schooldesign

🌟 Successful first MSC Global Gathering: Join us for the next session on 26 June! It was such a pleasure to co-organize and participate in the first global gathering of Most Significant Change (MSC) practitioners alongside Rick Davies, Niki Wood, Cecilia Ruberto, Nur Rokhmah Hidayati, and Nick Andrews. The energy and insights from our participants were truly remarkable – as desribed in Nikis post: https://lnkd.in/dKDp9QHj I joined Richard Smith, Theo Nabben and Nur Rokhmah Hidayati as one of the panel members in the fishbowl session on MSC & Outcome Harvesting (OH), which was expertly facilitated by Cecilia Ruberto. I was thrilled by the deep discussions on the commonalities and unique differences of both approaches. One interesting thought was that MSC can help document more intangible changes like shifts in attitudes or perceptions that may not be fully captured through OH alone, which normally focuses on “observable” behavioural changes (but see e.g., https://lnkd.in/dtiNg4NC; Michelle Garred, PhD). OH in turn brings rigor to documenting outcomes through a more standardized methodology. It was very useful to hear about specific examples for blending both: In one example, MSC was used to collect many outcome stories, then an OH lens was applied to analyze the stories and identify examples validating their theory of change. The fishbowl participants agreed that in some instances blending the methods can provide added value compared to using just one approach. However, it would require careful planning to determine how and where each method can best complement the other, while still allowing flexibility based on evaluation needs and context. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of this event and am looking forward to the next MSC online gathering next Wednesday, 26 June, at 16:00 BST. Let's continue these enriching conversations and share our experiences! #MostSignificantChange #MSC #OutcomeHarvesting #Evaluation #Learning #MSCOnlineConference

🎥 I’m excited (and, I’ll admit, a bit nervous!) to share my first professional promotional video! It’s my first time in front of the camera for something like this, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to talk about a topic I’m so passionate about—implementation science. 🚀 Ready to turn great ideas into real-world impact? Public and community sector professionals are constantly being asked to do more with less while delivering meaningful, lasting change. That’s where implementation science comes in—bridging the gap between planning and delivery, turning great ideas into sustained success. At CES, we’re passionate about helping organisations and individuals apply evidence-informed strategies to make their work more effective. Our first training offer, launching in February 2025, is tailored specifically for researchers and academics—those working to increase the societal impact of their research and integrate implementation science into their studies. Further training offers for practitioners and policymakers will follow soon. 🎥 Take a look at the video, and let me know what you think! https://lnkd.in/df9zkU_K 👩💻 Curious about the training or how implementation science can work for you? Let’s connect, or visit www.effectiveservices.org to explore our upcoming courses! #ImplementationScience #ProfessionalDevelopment #CES #Researchers #Academics #PolicyAndPractice #ImpactMatters
