Loved this discussion between Ambassador Terry Earthwind Nichols Mentor to Current and Future World Leaders and Todd Cherches. I think the topic about helping leaders of today develop the skill to manage staff who are not all together in the office is an important one. There is still a drift to the old default way of thinking which indicates more help is needed to broaden leaders awareness & give them tools to be able to confidently build courage to try a different way. Terry is so on the money regarding HR being an investment rather than an expense. I fully agree with Todd hiring to employ the best fit provides some pretty fantastic outcomes, yet being held back from the limitations of how we "know" to lead and what we "think" a team is prevents a lot from truly experiencing those outcomes.
