The lack of communication between AgTech stakeholders in Canada is stifling innovation, with reinventing the wheel just one of the issues. I think about Protein Industries Canada and the collaborative value it brings. What if AB or Canada were to take the same approach to Ag Tech? What a great deep dive on ag tech policy and practices to support Canadian Agriculture in this #NuffieldCanada report by Dawn Trautman. Well done Dawn! See report attached. "One of the main policy gaps in agricultural innovation systems in North America is the lack of coordination and collaboration between different actors in the innovation ecosystem. While there are many stakeholders involved in agricultural innovation, including farmers, researchers, government agencies, and industry organizations, there is often a lack of coordination and communication between these groups." A big thank you to Alberta Grains, formerly Alberta Wheat for sponsoring Dawn on her Nuffield Canada Scholarship. We truly appreciate your support!
