We're proud to introduce another #weightpacker: Stefano Trombini, our Reliability Maintenance Manager. 1. Stefano, let's start talking about your interests besides work, how do you like to spend your days? I am a lover of mountains and have been visiting them since childhood, taking my first steps on skis. It is a passion that I can now cultivate with my family and have recently been able to share with colleagues as well. For a whole day, we skied as a big group, waiting for each other and deciding our routes together: in this sport, it’s not obvious at all to keep the group together. There was a shared desire to spend a day well together. 2. What is your role in WeightPack? I am responsible for Preventive Maintenance plans for machines installed at our customers’ sites, this activity was born in WeightPack with my arrival in 2019. It has been challenging to build with the Sales Team and Ownership a new service for our customers and create a new role in our company. During my past work experiences I was in charge of plant maintenance. Today I put these skills to use by offering our Customers the best solutions to maintain the performance of their machines and avoid damage due to unscheduled shutdowns. Having experienced plant maintenance management firsthand, I strongly believe in the value of Preventive Maintenance as an essential factor for effective industrial production management. 3. What aspect of your job do you enjoy most? On a daily basis, I perform both technical and commercial roles. This means that I respond to technical needs and manage the proposal to our clients with the engineering approach that has always guided my profession. Thanks to the educational experience of the MBA I attended after graduation, I gained the ability to understand the customers in the round, including the management aspect.
