Maiden exploration (Phase 1) program to commence, targeting Ionic Adsorption Clays (IAC) enriched with REE at the Caldera Project in the Pocos de Caldas Alkaline Intrusive, Brazil. The project area is situated close to Meteoric Resources’ (ASX: MEI) world class Caldeira Project, as well as Viridis Mining and Minerals’ (ASX: VMM) Colossus REE project. The Phase 1 exploration program will comprise field reconnaissance to identify potential anomalous REE targets for a Phase 2 auger drill program to commence shortly after. Two additional exploration programs are planned in Q2 of CY2024 in the Lithium Valley targeting lithium-hosting spodumene from pegmatites at the Araçuai Project (adjacent to Atlas Lithium and ~25km West of Sigma) and IAC REE at the Padre Paraiso Project. Managing Director, Jim Malone commented, “We are pleased that exploration work will commence at our Brazilian joint venture projects as we fast track an initial aggressive program at Caldera. Due to its proximity to the world class Caldeira Project discovered by Meteoric Resources, we are confident we are in the right areas to make a significant discovery. Our initial focus will be on surface sampling and pending these results, we will return to the project with auger drilling. The Joint Venture with Foxfire Metals Pty Ltd (Foxfire) allows for the experienced Foxfire team to use their on-ground expertise to manage the exploration program. We will also turn our attention to the Araçuai lithium Project which again is near world-class discoveries from Atlas Lithium and mining giant Sigma. We have an exciting portfolio in Brazil and look forward to systematically working on these projects to uncover their potential like our neighbours have.” Read the full ASX announcement: https://lnkd.in/gce8BPq7 #SI6 #Brazil #exploration #REE

Acquisition of 50% interest in Brazilian exploration portfolio set to be completed in early 2024. The four projects comprise of 10 exploration licenses, ~17,000 hectares. The projects include: 🔆 Three highly prospective rare earth elements (REE) licenses, two of which sit amongst Meteoric Resources NL (ASX: MEI) and Viridis Mining and Minerals Limited (ASX:VMM) REE projects at the REE-rich Poços de Caldas Alkaline Complex in south Minas Gerais; 🔆 Three lithium licenses in the “Lithium Valley”, north Minas Gerais, known to host significant lithium spodumene resources discovered by Latin Resources Limited (ASX: LRS), SIGMA Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ: SGML) and licenses recently acquired by Rio Tinto Limited (ASX: RIO) An exploration program in Brazil planned to commence in 2024 with an initial focus on the Caldera Project in south Minas Gerais. The exploration program in 2024 will also focus on the Lithium Valley projects targeting lithium in spodumene pegmatites and ionic adsorption clay (IAC) rare earth elements. Managing Director, Jim Malone commented, “The Board of Si6 is thrilled that our shareholders have approved the acquisition of the Brazil assets and the Company is excited to commence an exploration program initially at the highly prospective Caldera REE Project nearby significant REE discoveries recently made by Meteoric and Viridis. The Lithium Valley Project is also of equal interest to us as it is located amongst Tier 1 discoveries by Latin Resources and Sigma Lithium to name a few, close to S-Type G4 Supersuite granites that are typically known to host lithium in spodumene-bearing pegmatites. Our first program at the Caldera Project will commence with field reconnaissance, mapping and soil sampling to determine follow-up targets for future auger drilling. We look forward to updating the market as our exploration programs in Brazil commence.” Read the full ASX announcement: https://bit.ly/3vqB4dn #SI6 #lithium #REE #exploration #Brazil

#ASXNews Summer Exploration Campaign Commences in the Northwest Territories Trinex Minerals Limited is pleased to announce that on ground exploration activities for the summer 2024 Canadian field season have commenced at the Halo-Yuri #Lithium Project. The purpose of this first phase field work is to enable the Company to rapidly assess a large number of pegmatite systems identified through satellite image interpretation. In addition to the pegmatite assessment work at Halo-Yuri, a number of days will be spent completing first pass rock chip sampling at the MAC Lithium Project. This work is to follow up on the 2023 initial sampling that identified several prospective zones based on falling K/Rb ratios within pegmatite systems and led to the Company staking a number of new claims adjacent to the original MAC project. • Targeted on-ground exploration planned at Halo-Yuri Lithium Project to rapidly determine the prospectivity of numerous pegmatite systems. • Completion of first pass exploration at the MAC Lithium Project which will cover the new claim areas recently staked by Trinex. Will D., Managing Director of #TX3, commented: “We are delighted to be back on the ground in the Northwest Territories, which is an emerging lithium hot spot in Canada. Our thorough planning and preparation over the last couple of months will ensure we maximise our effectiveness during our time in the field. We fully expect to identify prospective pegmatite swarms during this campaign, which will lead to a more detailed channel sampling program later in the summer.” See the full announcement: https://loom.ly/FxHzVqo #TrinexMinerals #MiningNews #ASX

📣 News! The Company is delighted to share that it has combined the Vaddas and Birtavarre projects, thereby creating Norway's single largest #copper-#cobalt exploration project. The property, to be known henceforth as the Vaddas project, with its district-scale size, measures 796 square kilometers - larger than the city of New York 👀 The former Vaddas-Birtavarre mining district contains several known Caledonian-age semi-massive to massive sulfide deposits and is interpreted by the Company to hold the greatest potential for new copper-cobalt discoveries in Norway outside of the central Trondelag province. The Company has enlisted Ginny Gay as a special advisor for the Vaddas project. Sven Gollan, CEO of Teako Minerals, comments: "Following a close collaborative effort with Capella Minerals, our Service Alliance partner, along with a productive site visit, months of desktop studies of historical data from The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) open archive, and an examination of the drill core at the NGU core shack in December, we marked a significant milestone by starting to stake the Vaddas claims at 00:01 on January 1 - claims that have now been approved. This strategic move aligns with the Norwegian government's latest minerals strategy, envisioned as a 'springboard for the development of the world's most sustainable minerals industry'. For Teako, the significant and district-scale Vaddas project represents a pivotal step for our appearance and developments in Norway."
