SEI — Stockholm Environment Institute’s Post

The Mekong subregion is at a crossroads, facing urgent climate challenges that demand intergovernmental actions and policies backed by locally-led research. From 7-10 October, the Mekong Environmental Resilience Week 2024 will bring together stakeholders to collaborate on sustainable solutions and policies for the area. Hosted by our Asia Centre, in partnership with the Chulalongkorn University Social Research Institute (CUSRI), and with funding support from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Swedish Embassy in Thailand through the Sustainable Mekong Research Network (SUMERNET), MERW 2024 will gather policymakers, researchers, civil society representatives, and development practitioners from across the Mekong region and Southeast Asia.
