Such an important read. Raj Sisodia

I write about the silent crisis of men's mental health in this edition of Livemint Lounge. During the research and interviews for this article, I also realised how in the past eight years of my coaching, facilitation and therapy sessions the overwhelming majority of clients are women. Learning more about this subject has added a new understanding to why men might be facing the challenge to access mental health services and open up in today's society. Shout out to Asgeir Persson, Anoop Rao, and Kalpesh More who shared their valuable perspectives for this piece. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this important issue if you happen to read the article. How have you seen men in your life respond to their mental health needs? P.S.: Link to the online article is in the comments. #mentalhealth #mensmentalhealth #zensei

Today is World Mental Health Day, and at Fortive, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset. Supporting mental well-being isn't just a one-day commitment—it's a daily priority because we believe that mental health is essential to our overall well-being and success. Here are three mental well-being practices our team finds valuable: 💚 Take a Short Walk or Stretch: Boost your mood and energy with regular breaks. 💚 Stay Connected: Catch up with colleagues over quick coffee chats (virtual or in-person). 💚 Utilize Our Benefits: Take advantage of offerings like free counseling sessions through Spring Health, support for parents and parents-to-be through Maven Clinic, backup care support for children and elders through Care.com, and more. #WorldMentalHealthDay #FortiveCares

On World Mental Health Day, we take a moment to emphasize the importance of mental health, especially within Black and BIPOC communities that have long been underserved in this area. At FMS Global Strategies, we believe that mental well-being is a fundamental human right. Access to quality care and support should not be a privilege—it must be available to everyone. Let’s commit to breaking the stigma, seeking help when needed, and building systems of support that allow all of us to thrive, emotionally and mentally. Remember: Mental health isn’t just a one-day conversation. It’s an everyday priority. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthIsHealth #EndTheStigma #WellbeingForAll #FMSGlobalStrategies #BuildBackBlack

🦋 Provided some of my insight below... Reminds me of the media story I wrote last month for my student newspaper! Check it out here, if you're curious: https://lnkd.in/eDTKW2_i Speaking of having high media literacy, this is a crucial aspect to know about when youth browse through social media. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝? Often times, we hear that the older folks are the one's suffering from low-media literacy -- the stereotype that they have no idea how to use technology or are "too slow". Well, with now a lot of generations catching up to the latest technology trends, it's even more important than before to remind many of scams or even Ponzi Schemes before resorting to buying. As AI-bots become more intelligent, I wonder how that's affected the percentages of consumers who've been scammed over the years, and the demographics to that... Why don't we check it out: https://lnkd.in/eVBUR-GR "Older adults have been increasingly using technology in the last two decades. In 2013, 18% of older adults owned a smartphone, and by 2021, that number had increased to 83% for those aged 50–64, and 61% for those aged 65 and older. 90% of older adults own a laptop or computer and use the internet..." Get to see what other important (and fun!) stories I'll be publishing for Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine for this upcoming Fall's internship! 💜
