The very same goes for financial wellbeing Nick! For example, employee benefits packages should support employees' financial wellbeing, but they don't...... Why not?? Most employees just see them as a list of products. How come? The financial services industry knows how to 'broker' these products but seem clueless at drawing out their value to the employees. To value employee benefits, workers need to have an emotional connection with the 'benefit' of these products, they don't care about the product particulars (not yet anyway) Even if the 'brokers' know that an emotional connection is required, they dont know how to achieve it. They mean well but it is just not how they operate. It doesn't have to be this way.
