Change Management o Manage the change management process to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to the new ERP module. o Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to keep them informed about progress and any changes.

Most companies only change their ERP or enterprise-wide systems every 10 – 15 years. Your staff will be well versed with your existing business processes and technology, but it is essential that you combine their internal knowledge with fresh perspectives on current ERP Vendors and Solutions. The one thing you want to avoid is “𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗿” 🦖 For Phase 1 of your ERP Evaluation, Combined Management Consultants recommends the following “Client Sided” roles as a minimum: 1. Business Sponsor 2. ERP Project Manager (May be an External Consultant) 3. Senior ERP Consultant (May be an External Consultant) 4. Evaluation Team 5. Business Process Owners 6. Enterprise Architect (May be an External Consultant) You will want to make sure the aptitude and attitude of the people in these roles are truly effective. For example: ➡️ It doesn’t make sense to nominate a 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 who is reluctant to support the financial investment (people, time and cost). ➡️ It doesn’t make sense to appoint a 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 who doesn’t have previous ERP experience. ➡️ It doesn’t make sense to engage an 𝗘𝗥𝗣 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 who lacks understanding of your specific vertical industry. ➡️ It doesn’t make sense to select 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 who do not have time to commit to the project. All of the above people will need to be proactive and accountable. They will have a collaborative style, communicate well and have a desire to contribute in a productive way.
