Day 1 of restarting my transformation journey. Today was a whirlwind of recording—about 2 hours of footage, trying to figure out what my story should be. Sitting at the editing table, ideas were floating around: should it be emotional, motivational, or serious? In the end, I chose a little comedy to present my story. Laughter is the best way to connect, after all! Here's to embracing the process with a smile and a sense of humor. Three public speaking skills I learned from stand-up comedy: 1. Tell your true stories. 2. Timing is magical, especially a well-placed pause. 3. 🎤 Practice practice practice.
