The road to the future of automotive computing just got shorter. 🚗💻 Arm today announced a new suite of processors, designed to meet the demands of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) that require high performance, efficiency, safety, and security.
🔧 The company is introducing a range of new products, including a server-class Neoverse CPU, two Armv9 A-class CPUs, an R-class CPU, and an Image Signal Processor (ISP) for various automotive applications such as ADAS, autonomous driving, digital cockpit, and IVI.
Arm is also providing enhanced safety and security 🔐 features, with functional safety capabilities ranging from ASIL B to ASIL D and the latest Armv9-A architecture security features like Pointer Authentication, Branch Target Identification, and Memory Tagging Extension.
To deliver this technology suite, Arm is collaborating 🤝 with the entire automotive supply chain, including mobility service companies, OEMs, Tier1s, and silicon vendors. Leading automotive partners such as Marvell, MediaTek, NVIDIA, NXP, Renesas, Telechips, and Texas Instruments are already leveraging Arm's new processors to develop innovative computing systems, technologies, and devices.
