As we build momentum in the new year, we are growing our leadership team with the addition of Anthony Di Paola as our Chief Financial Officer! Anthony brings over three decades of executive financial expertise to Sublime. Previously, he has held key financial leadership positions at companies such as Ernst & Young, GE Water & Process Technologies, Seurat Technologies and FGX International. Anthony successfully led the IPO process for FGX and divestiture to EssilorLuxottica and subsequently lead the global expansion of FGX as both CFO and CEO. We are also grateful for Anthony’s experience overseeing organizations at the nexus of clean manufacturing. During his time at GE Ionics, he contributed to a division focused on water purification and global sustainability as well as clean manufacturing for Seurat Technologies. Business case: COO role for a leading Glass Manufacturer ▶️ Context A major player in glass solutions in Veneto region (Italy); this company, controlled by a PE Firm, has seen significant growth since the mid-90s, including recent key acquisitions across Europe and America. With a turnover of above €200M in 2021, 5 production sites, and over 1.100 employees, the Group was planning the exit of its Private Equity sponsor within the following 24 months. To ensure a smooth transition and accelerate its next phase of growth, the company asked Duke & Kay to select a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the global production #strategy and #transformation. ▶️ Duke & Kay activity To support the client, Duke & Kay provided an executive interim solution by sourcing a highly skilled Manager with strong technical, leadership, and strategic capabilities. His deep market knowledge and extensive experience overseeing the COO function, including designing and implementing operational strategies, were mandatory to achieve the goals set.
