🌈 Embracing Diversity: Learning from Holi 🌺 As we immerse ourselves in the jubilant celebrations of Holi, it's not just about splashing colors but also about understanding the profound impact this festival has on the cultural and societal fabric of India. Holi, known as the festival of colors, is a time when barriers of caste, creed, and social status fade away, and people from all walks of life come together in a harmonious celebration of joy and togetherness. This essence of inclusivity and acceptance is deeply ingrained in Indian culture and holds valuable lessons that we can apply to our professional careers. Embrace Diversity: Just as Holi brings together people of different backgrounds and beliefs, embracing diversity in the workplace is crucial for fostering creativity, innovation, and resilience. By welcoming a diverse range of perspectives, experiences, and ideas, teams can tackle challenges more effectively and develop innovative solutions. Inclusivity: Holi teaches us the importance of inclusivity and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. In our professional lives, it's essential to promote inclusivity by actively listening to diverse voices, addressing biases, and ensuring equal opportunities for all team members. Celebrate Differences: Like the vibrant colors of Holi, each individual in a team brings unique strengths, skills, and perspectives. By celebrating these differences rather than viewing them as obstacles, teams can harness the collective power of diversity to achieve greater success and growth. Foster Collaboration: Holi is a celebration of togetherness and collaboration, highlighting the significance of teamwork and collective effort. In the workplace, fostering a culture of collaboration involves encouraging open communication, building trust among team members, and promoting a shared sense of purpose and goals. Spread Joy and Positivity: Holi is synonymous with spreading joy, positivity, and laughter. Similarly, in professional settings, maintaining a positive attitude, supporting and encouraging colleagues, and creating a conducive work environment can enhance team morale, productivity, and overall well-being. By drawing inspiration from the spirit of Holi, we can create inclusive, diverse, and vibrant workplaces where individuals from all backgrounds can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and reach their full potential. Let's celebrate diversity, embrace inclusivity, and foster collaboration to create a more equitable and successful professional landscape. Wishing you all a colorful and joyous Holi filled with unity, happiness, and prosperity! #Holi #DiversityandInclusion #ProfessionalDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #Collaboration #Inclusivity #CelebrateDifferences

At Unakti, something truly magical happens. Our Goa HQ has become an orbit that naturally attracts extraordinary female leaders from all corners of the world. These women bring with them a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion, and as they arrive, everything just falls into place. It’s as if Mother Earth herself is guiding the process, allowing the synergy between nature and these inspiring leaders to flow effortlessly, with creativity and purpose shaping our every step. Together, we harness a powerful creative energy rooted in nurturing, protection, and innovation. Ideas form, strategies align, and the collective vision grows stronger. Every meeting in Nature, conversation, and collaboration at our HQ feels like a step toward a regenerative future where we honor ancient wisdom and lead with shared values. UNAKTI is more than a brand; it’s a movement, where feminine leadership and Mother Earth’s plan work hand-in-hand to heal, restore, and create a sustainable future for all. These ladies come to Unakti with an open heart and a clear vision for a better future, and together we create something truly powerful, guided by the natural rhythms around us. Purpose is transformative. It’s what gets us up in the morning, and it’s what makes every step meaningful. Reflecting on the Japanese concept of Ikigai—the belief that living with purpose enriches our lives, health, and longevity—I realize this is exactly what we are building at Unakti. Each woman involved brings her unique essence, fueling this movement to regenerate both people and the planet. A special thank you to all of you who are stepping up with passion and determination, making Unakti a beacon of feminine leadership and a force for planetary healing. I’ve found that within the entertainment business, it can be very difficult for people to know where to draw the line between friendships and professional relationships. When your work is your life, the lines can become blurry. That’s why Bharatiya Digital Party (BhaDiPa) is extremely proud of its association with UNGENDER Advisory. They have been conducting our annual POSH trainings with employees, and helped us set up our Anti-Harrassment policy and Internal Complaints Committee when we scaled up in 2019. It’s important that we remember these rules don’t only apply to women, but any hostile work environment. As an industry we can’t just milk feminism and equality on screen. We also have a responsibility to practice and encourage it with those we work with. Unfortunately most production companies are still unaware of these compliances, or don’t put in the effort to ensure it’s understood at their workplace. I highly recommend Ungender for their long experience and innovative work. Pallavi Pareek has built a great team too. What’s the most valuable thing you learned at a POSH training session? Have you had the privilege of attending one? #poshact #metoo #entertainmentindustry #filmindustry #womensafety #womeninfilm
Safety on the Set 🎬 If you work in an industry that's always under the microscope for its content, hiring decisions, or gender bias, talking about DEI practices can be a little daunting. However, for Bharatiya Digital Party (BhaDiPa), breaking through these barriers wasn't a hurdle at all. They saw the value in DEI right away and welcomed GetConduct, our human-centred SaaS platform, with open arms. In the world of media and production, where creativity meets complexity, building a safe and inclusive work environment becomes paramount. Through our awareness sessions and Internal Committee training, as aligned with the PoSH Act of 2013, we have jointly navigated the nuances of creating a workspace that is not just creatively free but also safe and respectful for everyone involved. 🎯 The result? A team that is not just aware of the importance of a safe work environment but is also equipped to uphold it. Together, we continue to create a media workplace that is safe, respectful, and inclusive for everyone associated with the organization. Our long-standing partnership with Bharatiya Digital Party (BhaDiPa), a subsidiary of Gulbadan Talkies, continues to build a #culture of care and #inclusivity for their team. #theatrelife #theatremagic #inclusiveworkplace #inclusiveteamleadership #safeworkplace #safeworkenvironment #LetsUngender #UngenderWorkplaces #Culture #Diversity #DEI #DiversityAndInclusion #GetConduct #peopleandculture #talentacquisition #leadership #innovation #management #hrleadership #hrleaders #talentleaders #humancapital #humanresources #jobseekers #founders #cxos #hiringmanagers
