This post is intended for a U.S. audience.    Bringing new treatment options to people living with cancer is at the core of what we do. This year included the FDA approval of our combination therapy for patients with advanced HR-positive breast cancer. We’re thrilled about the potential impact this new treatment option will have on people living with the disease with certain biomarker alterations.   But even as the year draws to a close, we’re ramping up to present more breast cancer research – 56 abstracts across our approved medicines and pipeline assets – at #SABCS23.     And there’s still more to come as we aim to continue advancing toward our bold ambition of one day eliminating cancer as a cause of death. #AZUS #BreastCancer

Sacituzumab govitecan, an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) approved for locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer (mUC), triple-negative breast cancer, and recently for HR(+) HER2(-) breast cancer, offers a promising treatment option. While patients may experience side effects like neutropenia, diarrhea, and nausea/vomiting, proactive adverse event management can help patients stay on track with their therapy and achieve positive outcomes. To enhance #patientcare, NCODA collaborated with with medical teams from New England Cancer Specialists and Lake Erie Regional Health System Incorporated, who offered vital insights on clinical considerations around the use of sacituzumab govitecan to optimize the outcomes for patients and the benefits of utilizing the 'Sacituzumab govitecan: Management of Neutropenia and Diarrhea' PQI.
