Surfside Recovery Services’ Post

We’ve been visiting the Dorset Quarry to cliff jump in the summertime since our inception in 2016, always followed by a visit to Bill Wilson’s grave and The Wilson House of East Dorset (birthplace of AA co-founder Bill W) There is something comforting about the idea that generations of sober men make this trip and build beautiful, sober memories. Another group departs on Saturday for Mount Surfside, our retreat house in Newfane, VT. “… a fellowship has grown up among us of which it is a wonderful thing to feel a part. The joy of living we really have, even under pressure and difficulty.” - Bill’s Story, pg. 15

Not a bad idea to grab a few Maple Creemees after that swim as well.

What an awesome trip! 👍
