Last week I did something in my business I’ve never done before: (it was terrifying!) I launched a program a customer pitched to me. This customer - a founder - figured out a way to 100% automate a task that people usually outsource because they dread it so much. She’s got 1 paying customer, and is a member of my Founder-Led Marketing Club (FLMC). During an FLMC office hour, we analyzed what’s working and specific ideas for micro-tests she could run next. I asked what else I could be doing to support her… 𝗔𝗻𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳: 🫂 A group of peers also on their journey to 10 Happy Paying Customers 📈 Support to (in)validate her key GTM hypotheses. ➕ Weekly structure, tutorials and templates for what to do, along with accountability and gamification to get it done. Then I realized: → This was something my other clients would LOVE, too. I know because several founders have asked me for variations of this. So I decided to run a micro-test myself and launch a 6-week cohort program doing exactly what she asked… 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸: 🔥 3 founders booked their seats 🔥 1 more gave me a verbal commitment 🔥 Bringing the total members to 4 When you get close to your customers, they will help you build your business. Sometimes quite literally so. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 1-10 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀.
