The great thing about #ukhousing is that we work together; social housing is leading the way in retrofitting property to meet NetZero commitment and Together Housing is leading the pack in getting this done and, in the process, finding the barriers. What was interesting was that Orbit Group faced the same, but also their own, challenges in the process. By talking about common solutions, the social housing sector can continue to lead the way not only in properties that are great for people today, but also for the planet in the future

Well look at this, all the rush and fuss the past year about #rooptop #solar for the #multifamily industry and the NEM 3.0 deadline (vesting had to occur on Valentine’s Day last week 2/14/24). David might just have a chance against Goliath with the repeal in motion. We need more David’s who care about #sustainability and owners / developers protecting their property rights against government claw backs. PearlX is a leader in lobbying for the MF industry and has you back, and we need the market to speak up. As a MF owner, investor and developer myself, I didn’t understand the impact the CPUC was going to have on our ability to make money. This is like a parent pushing down a child learning to walk. Let’s crawl, walk and run together better into this battle against the public utilities. At least there are 3 IOUs in CA that even have VNEM and it’s coming to #colorado soon, what about all the other utities and States that have no idea why energy infrastructure investment and #esg even matters. This is not a woke or #California this is our future at hand, affects our cash flows, jobs and energy equity for our residents.
