Lovely afternoon Stanbrook Abbey at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Summer BBQ. Bridget Robinson and I had a very interesting conversation about all things logistical with Tony Seifas. 💡A topic that keeps coming up in college and business discussions is the dress code. How important do you think it is to dress appropriately for an interview or in the workplace? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this! #DressCode #WorkplaceAttire #Professionalism #InterviewTips #BusinessEtiquette #HWChamber
A lovely afternoon spent with Jodie Taylor Grimshaw representing Heart of Worcestershire College at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Summer BBQ. Catch ups with Jo Murphy and Coralie Hudson and new connections with Tony Seifas was the order of the day at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel. Thank you Yasmin Bent, Robert Elliot, Olivia Williams and Sharon Smith for another great event.

What a night at Our Second Annual SuperCrue Executive Dinner in Fort Worth! Last night was not just an event; it was a celebration of community, knowledge, and growth within the E&P community. With a room packed to the brim, we had the privilege of hosting 20 top-tier energy professionals, including 14 E&P Operators and 3 OFS representatives. The powerhouse of intellect and experience at the table was nothing short of impressive and inspiring. As I sat back and observed the conversations, the dynamic exchanges of ideas, and the genuine connections being strengthened, I felt a profound sense of pride in what Crüe Club has become. What started as unstructured dinners has evolved into a thriving community, hosting events that not only connect but significantly elevate careers and personal growth in the E&P space. The discussions last night underscored a clear truth: there is a vital need for connection, for sharing knowledge and efficiencies, and for professional growth. Crue Club is passionately committed to meeting these needs through our exclusive events, knowledge-sharing forums, and growth workshops (powered by Exec Crüe). A heartfelt thank you to all our Crue Club Members and Sponsors who continue to support and believe in our vision. Your participation is what transforms our events into a powerful platform for change. Here’s to more nights like this, where we come together to shape the future of our industry. The impact of our collective efforts is truly inspiring, and I am eager to see where our journey takes us next. #Connections #CrueClub #EnergyProfessionals #NetworkingSuccess #ProfessionalGrowth

Experienced Corporate Finance Director guiding businesses toward success | Champion of D&I in the workplace
Thanks to The 6% Club and Helen Tsang for organising this event, it was really interesting to hear Tricia's advice on her career journey and also navigating difficult conversations. Some of my key takeaways were: 💡 Make sure you have the right time and place for the conversation - plan ahead and don't 'spring' the conversation on people; 💡 Feel confident that you can adjourn a conversation and take time to respond - you don't have to have the answer immediately; 💡 Gather the facts! and 💡 Be accessible and transparent with the follow up, whatever the outcome. Looking forward to the next event! #personaldevelopment #growthmindset
We were delighted to have been joined by Tricia Williams, COO from Northern Trains, yesterday morning for our latest 6% Club event. We looked at being true to yourself, taking opportunities and the power of the network and some top tips at navigating difficult conversations. Thanks to Tricia for speaking, DLA Piper for hosting, Helen Tsang for organising, and to all who joined. We look forward to seeing you at the next event! 🎉 Reflecting on a Fantastic Business Buzz Wellingborough! 🎉 Yesterday’s Business Buzz - Local Business Networking Wellingborough was nothing short of spectacular! What an incredible turnout we had – each conversation buzzed with potential and enthusiasm. 🐝✨ The atmosphere was electric with so many 1-2-1s being arranged right in the room, paving the way for fruitful collaborations and exciting opportunities. It’s thrilling to see so much synergy and proactive engagement happening in one place. 🤝 A massive shoutout to our steadfast sponsors, Business Times and Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, whose support is invaluable. And how can we forget the backbone of our event, Business Buzz HQ and our Regional lead, James Brodie, who has been dearly missed over recent months. It's great to have you back, James! Special thanks to our phenomenal ambassador team – Alison Mead, Denise Keating (who is finally making it official!), and a warm welcome to Rebecca Harrison who’s new to the team but already making waves. Your dedication and enthusiasm are what make these events a success. 🌟 Couldn’t make it yesterday? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. I’ve condensed all the excitement and key moments into a 2-minute video that captures the essence of our meeting. Check it out and see what you missed! 🎥 Let’s do it all again next month! founder at CapeTownMagazine.com / Chair for Strategic Partnerships Entrepreneurship Organisation Accelerator Cape Town
What if you know that what got you here will not get you there. And what if you're an entrepreneur and your business Could get where you want to get to? Better. Healthier. Happier. I was not one for joining a networking network. And EOA (Entrepreneur Organisation Accelerator) isn't one. It showed me I had what it takes, and that everything is there. But in a slightly wrong spot, or built from an angle that should be sharper. And that I could be a better leader/employer. An ADD geek, I was terrible at that. Terrible. So; Come for an evening. Meet entrepreneurs that matter. And non one's a 'know it all'. But all have been there. All of us have grown knowing one thing: EOA helped us fly (better), or saved our life/business. Come for an evening, it's free. If you're interested: 10 reasons to join EOA: 1) You are profitable - but have no cash. That's normal, but does not have to be. 2) You are seeking tools to help you grow your business - not investment or financing. 3) You have been building your business for a long time, but still have not reached the US1million mark. 4) You know that what got you here will not get you there. 5) You wish that someone was there to hold you accountable. 6) You want to grow your business but do not know where to start. 7) You need investment to grow but do not want to give up ownership. 8) You wear all of the hats in your business. 9) You want an Entrepreneurial peer network to go to for support. 10) You want structured learning in the 4 key areas of business - people, cash, execution and strategy. Meet the entrepreneurial kindred spirits who become friends, grow and connect naturally. Break big barriers or ceilings, + Have the big laughs you need as well. cc: EO Accelerator Cape Town EO Cape Town Entrepreneurs' Organization

Meet Alicia's counterpart and YOUR Special Events co-chair, Zachary Brown who leads Business Development with Zolman Restoration. We asked Zach, "What does being a servant leader mean to you? What are you most excited about in 2024 as committee chair/co-chair?" He answered: "Being a servant leader is very important to me. I want to improve the industry by working with others to understand the needs and changes that need to be implemented. Supporting others with their challenges and making sure the resources are there to improve their lives both personally and professionally. Listen to ideas and suggestions from others so our events can be more impactful. I am most excited to create some new events and new ways to raise awareness of those events in 2024, along with wanting to increase event turnout and event marketing." Our chairs are looking to be hands on and make sure everything DMAA puts on is beneficial to our membership. If you have ideas for Zach, don't hesitate to share as our committee meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month. #DMAA #ZolmanRestoration #BroderSachse #WeAreFamily #SpecialEvents #Committee #Introductions #Networking #TeamBuilding
