As of today, $60.7 billion USDT is circulating on the TRON blockchain, representing approximately 51% of the total USDT supply. Concerns over its use in illicit activities have led TRON, Tether, and blockchain analytics firm TRM Labs to establish the "T3 Financial Crime Unit" aimed at combating criminal misuse of USDT on the TRON network. In the short time since the unit's inception, over $12 million in USDT has been identified as part of scams or fraud schemes and frozen by Tether.
