🚘 Our colleagues representing ST had an incredible time at the Paris Motor Show this year, where visitors were treated to an array of new models, world premieres, and futuristic concept cars from top car manufacturers around the globe. ST was thrilled to be part of the PFA (Plateforme Automobile) booth, which proudly represented the automotive sector in France, with a showcase of our technologies that are driving the transition to electric and Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). 🏎️ “The race track serves as a laboratory for the transfer of digital twins to the broader motor industry, says Ignazio Dentici, head of the automotive division of Hexagon.”   #Formula1 is about speed, precision and control.    It therefore makes sense that Hexagon’s digital twin technology is being leveraged by Oracle Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology - the F1 team with ambitions to reach peak efficiency on and off the track.   💡 So why should digital twins be on every auto manufacturer’s radar? Carmakers are trying to create digital twins of their factories and supply chains to plan production more efficiently.    The virtual testing of prototype vehicles in simulations has accelerated the journey from concept to mass production, while also predicting the ageing of parts and recycling processes.   Where else can we expect to see digital twin applications in the future?
