#agencystory There's always an employee who'll try to bend the rules. No, you can't push the tasks that are assigned to you to your co-workers. In addition, your audacity to add your own pending tasks to set is absolutely low! What's more important is for the Managers to see if their delegation is being followed without any foul play. Holiday season is on. So, I thought of simply reminding y'all! #delegation #agencylife #newyear2024 Mattel, Inc.

Are forehead "kissies" appropriate for work? In the contemporary workspace, traditional methods of employee recognition are rapidly evolving. While bonuses and promotions have long been staples of employee incentive programs, a startling new trend has emerged—affectionate forehead kisses, or "kissies," are now the preferred form of appreciation, coveted by a whopping 98% of employees. This seismic shift in employee preference begs the question: How should managers navigate the intricate dynamics of distributing "kissies" in the workplace? After all, not all achievements are created equal, and it stands to reason that not all "kissies" should be, either. The key is strategic distribution. Just as one might allocate budget increases or project assignments, so too must a manager consider the allocation of "kissies." Favoring one employee over another can lead to resentment or, worse, an environment ripe for accusations of favoritism. This is especially pertinent when considering that a well-placed "kissie" might motivate an employee more profoundly than any monetary reward could. However, it is crucial to remember that "kissies" are a precious commodity and should not be dispensed indiscriminately. Rewarding every minor accomplishment with a "kissie" dilutes its value, making it no more remarkable than a perfunctory handshake. Instead, "kissies" should be reserved for moments of genuine achievement, thereby fostering an environment of earned respect and recognition. In conclusion, while the professional landscape continues to evolve, the introduction of "kissies" into the corporate recognition program must be approached with caution and consideration. After all, the goal is to foster a harmonious and motivating workplace, not a battlefield marked by jealousy and strife. As with all tools of management, wisdom lies not just in whether to use them, but in how they are used.

Senior Legal recruitment consultant - working with top law firms to find the best talent in the market
'Companies are eager to hire strong players who use hybrid work schedules to schmooze clients on the course' - Wall Street Journal, June 2024 I see A LOT of golf posts on my Linkedin ( most likely as I interact with so many of them 🤣 ) With it recently being announced in the US companies are actively looking at handicaps within the hiring process, do you think this is something that could follow in the UK? If you aren't the next US Open winner, but you are looking for a new legal role - please do reach out for a discussion around the market, as I have a number of top law firms who wont check out your handicap and are just interested in your legal expertise! #golf #legalcareers

Who would forget the fundamentals when we were initially learning how to negotiate, and hunt for the best deals at a reasonable price? Taking a day off from work allows me to go back to the fundamentals and decide what our family will eat and where to shop. It also entails stepping away from roles, deadlines, and uniforms. #workdiary #hospitalitylife #mydiary

“Here, at Our Company, we are a family!” No, you’re not. Scientifically speaking (linguistics major here), we associate ‘family’ with warmth and loyalty. This association can be weaponized and employed to make you work beyond the norm and grind unpaid overtime. How can you say no to such a heartfelt request from your worksiblings or a workspouse!? Yet the same "family" can lay off a sibling for ‘poor performance’ or being ‘not a good fit for the culture’. This approach not only distorts an employee’s image of their work relationships, but harms the company as well. Within the ‘family’ pattern of thinking, it’s a binary choice: you’re either a part of the family or you’re a black sheep. 🐑 No space for constructive criticism and you’re bound to fall victim to groupthinking. Are you sick and tired of this jargon as well or am I overexaggerating? Kudos to Loe Whaley for the wonderful video aid! #workculture #worklifebalance #leadership #teamwork

I’m not bitter but all the dogs would rather squeeze on one sofa with my partner, not one of them wanted to sit next to me 🙄 Clearly they have a favourite hooman. 🤷 Anyway does anyone want to find out how their recruitment process could be more streamlined? #dogs #dogsonlinkedin #recruitment #recruitmentsolutions #temporaryrecruitment #recruitmenttech
