🌞 In June 2024, we proudly inaugurated DAWN, our first solar fuel demonstration plant in Jülich, Germany! 🚨 News Alert! 🚨 BASF and AMG Graphit Kropfmühl GmbH have entered into an innovative renewable energy agreement. 🌿⚡ This means that: 🌱 BASF Renewable Energy will supply renewable energy certificates (“Guarantees of Origin”) to Graphit Kropfmühl’s production site in Hauzenberg, Germany. ✅ The Guarantees of Origin certify that a given amount of power comes from a particular renewable power plant, providing tangible proof of the usage and source of renewable power. ♻️ Graphit Kropfmühl´s product “graphite” will then be used by BASF as raw material for the production of Neopor®, reducing the carbon footprint along the value chain.
